  1. Or in Marks case a better clutch...lol..is that 320kw on e85?? You don't need a forged engine either....just a tuner willing to push the envelope.
  2. Cams are not needed in Rb25s unless your pushing for big numbers the stock cams are good to 350kw sometimes more...
  3. That was @TL;DR btw.. Do 4 valve motors have as much lift as 2valve engines..I always thought that as part of the reason they did it...to get more fuel/air in with less valve travel... That is the whole point in making power, to safely get the biggest explosion in the smallest time possible
  4. Bahahahaha.....
  5. thanks Dave....pretty cool from up top it looks standard...
  6. might pay to wrap it in some heatproof wrap Ron... that precision turbo is internal gate isnt it?
  7. Don't need cams for that just a hiflow...
  8. has anybody tried the TD03-7g i know this guy with a daewoo matiz..800cc 3 cylinders of lame supercar destroying awesomeness....do you think this will work should be good for at least 80hp yeah? http://www.ebay.com....=item43b72c1729 I also found a gt15 for half the price good for 100-200hp..might be a little large though
  9. look sometimes you can get away with it, but not on your P Plates..lol
  10. and whats vic popo gunna say when they see your big hole and more than 1 Intake mod ?? hes gunna have hard enough time getting a turbo past them as it is let alone a turbo with a bunch of "awesome" mods.. ..
  11. damn..i has google account but its still rejecting it...
  12. dont think so....thought he stole yours...
  13. I dunno if they make a difference but they look really good...i almost bought one too...
  14. hey something just hit me, all the t67 results we have seen posted have been with Greddy style plenums...these are renowned for losing midrange torque while all the HG results we have seen are with a stock plenum and runners... looking at the chart and thats exactly where the power is missing...@ around 7000rpm it has caught up again and we know it will keep pulling to 8000rpm +....where HG turbo has well and truely fallen over... So im gunna say im not yet convinced and the only way we can really solve this is to run a t67 with stock intake....any takers
  15. Jex mate here is an extract from a convo i had with Fattony when i was thinking about the greddy install... "330rwhp with Greddy 345rwhp with stock Difference was the shape of the graphs. Greddy Straight linear line, like a highly strung N/A. Stock was a huge hump, massive mid-range flat-line at peak power from 5750rpm to 6750rpm. I can't blame the Greddy plenum outright, but I do belive the shorter runners played a part. Turbo is a 2835 ProS, I think boost came on the same with both plenums. 3rd gear, 21psi, 3500rpm. 2nd gear, 21psi, 4000rpm. Felt much slower. Its all in the midrange. The extra power 4000rpm -> 6000rpm was the difference. Pedal response ON/OFF/ON throttle is probably better with the Greddy due to the shorter piping. It took some" was enough to convince me anyway...maybe you could better tune your way around it i dunno...I asked Trent about it and he seemed very, meh whatever about it..
  16. thats not cheap its nearly 900$...may as well get a Freddy for 300$ or this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-GTS33-RB25DET-inlet-plenum-manifold-/350517307255?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item519c75a777
  17. haha ,love it
  18. have you seen the custom plenum made to address all the issues you mentioned...some guy did it and theres a thread on it, not sure if it was on this forum but its a crazy piece of work...I doubt the effort was worth it though...lets face it on a 30 yr old motor just about everything that can be done has been done....your really got to be pushing to find a newer/ better way...
  19. probably better to buy a blank plenum hat and start from scratch then...chop up stock manifold weld on tubes and hat...isnt that what hypertune do but what are you trying to acheive with it Jez, more power, better response...?? personally I think if you want more power just get the bigger turbo, (read t67 ) throw a freddy on and crank up the boost... if you want better "driveability" your time/money might be better spent adapting rb26 TBs.,, ...
  20. pics of stanced mazda....
  21. whats the right areas to tap into ??
  22. ok I probably didn't need to know that aim to keep the car looking clean and as stock as possible, outside and in and don't drive like a knob you never know what you will get away with... build another drift hack you probably wont last a week... then again you might...who knows
  23. sounds good ,black is the way to go specially in Vic.. many say the blitz is a better cooler , you could always paint it black...that said I have a cheap china cooler and it works fine... Any filter is good as long as its clean.. I have K&N filter too...they are the same filter as a VN commodore so cheap enough too ...Think I paid 60$ on sale at repco
  24. nah mate, this is the one you want....they pop up in for sale section occasionally too if your patient.. http://justjap.com/s...316&cat=&page=1 then add this http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=19402&cat=&page=1 thats about far as cheap upgrades go, after that its turbo, ecu, injector time and you will spend 3000$ pretty quickly.. Hypergear was selling Adaptronics cheap with hiflows not sure if he still is but for around 2000$ its your best bet....
  25. yes get a 3inch bellmouth dump...great little upgrade for less than 200$...get intercooler, fuel pump...But nistune isnt great with r33 so unless you can get one real cheap you're better off with a full standalone like PFC, Adaptronic, Link etc ... I wouldnt bother modifying the stock airbox much ...I suck 500hp thought mine no worries
