  1. oh yeah you got a white bay dont you....mines black
  2. pics
  3. white writing on tyres is definately making a comeback and it looks cool as shit on the right car...have seen a few lately, one was a dc5 integra with racing rims and white lettering, looked killer.. I reckon I could easily make it work on my gtst as well... i think one of the toyos do it, or you can get a paint pen and do it yourself
  4. Lol toothbrush and petrol...your doing it the hard way man.. Soak bay in good degrease, not cheap useless shit, (ct14 is ace) hose off..repeat process still clean.. There may be a few little spots left that require a rag or brush but not much... As for painting, by far the cheapest easiest way is to do it with spray cans in your shed.. I did most parts in my bay with heat proof paint and it looks tops. Everybody told me it would peel and flake, 2 track days and its fine..lots of thin coats is the secret..then let it bake slowly on a warm engine for a few hundred kms before getting it too hot.. Awesome result for less than 50$
  5. Lets face it they're all just 20 year old junkheaps now..
  6. as long as you dont wake to find creamy stuff coming from your exhaust..if you do, dont tell anybody

  8. At Sandown I was ready for scrutineering at 7.30 and they weren't even there yet..
  9. I like my S1, it doesn't look like a racecar, but I dont think its ugly either and it doesnt attract unwanted attention though it is very hard to get a good picture of it, get the wrong angle and it looks like balls All that said I will probably kit it oneday....
  10. Doesn't everything..
  11. Lol @ civility Hey tripsteady SHAKE AND BAKE!!!!

  16. looking at that i would have to say the 33 is the smoothest, sleekest, SLIMEST car of the lot.... It also looks the lowest and is the nicest colour... In fact i have just gained a whole new love for the 33 shape.. I always though it was a bit baulbous looking as well but beside its brothers its gotta be the sexiest of the bunch...
  17. just dont be surprised if its a fail ok
  18. Yeah figured that's what I'd do too..if numbers are short will jump onboard

  20. Haha, Just haven't got around to it..atm my track economy is almost as good as my road economy. But thanks you have opened my eyes to the way my ecu works..its even easier than expected. Allthough this doesn't solve the problem of adjusting my boost either..which means the flex fuel option is only good for a set boost level or I can only turn the boost up when the sensor says e85..
  21. Yes but you explained it better.. So if it interpollates as you say, does that mean I only really need the 2 maps and the ecu figures the rest out in between ?...if so maybe I should just get the sensor and wire my wideband in already, I got it mostly for a gauge for now Haven't yet tried the launch or traction control..also has a boost by gear function I might have a play with to try prevent those 3rd gear tank slappers.. ..
  22. They won't get upset as long as you get out of their way
  23. Here's another option that I'm currently putting together.. I have an Adaptronic which is also flex fuel capable..But buying a sensor and all the extra tuning needed can get expensive and I can't yet afford.. I do however have a pulp and e85 tune already and an ecu that can run dual maps..so I will put a switch in dash that can just switch between the 2 maps..This will only change my fuel/ignition however and can't adjust the different boost pressure which is also controlled by the ecu..so I will set the pulp tune to gate pressure and let the ecu run boost on the e85 tune only..so when I switch to pulp map it will also switch the boost solenoid off.. Admittedly its not as ideal as a full flex setup but I think it's a good compromise that saves me carrying my laptop around and should be good enough to get me out trouble should I drive to an area that doesn't have e85 available.
