  1. if it keeps raining like this...there will be alot of drifting
  2. Lies....Paul cannot paint for shit
  3. I never had a bump steer issue and front of my car was lower than most...I had bump stop issues, but not bump steer... My car had Stock swaybars, all stock suspension arms, bilstein suspension...camber 3 and 1.5 just from lowering, toe set pretty much neutral, I think 1 degree of caster..17 x8,9 and 245/40, 255/40 tyres...It always handled great and exceeded my expectations..I know some people are doing quick laptimes with much the same setup too but better brakes and bigger balls... my next step was sways bars and some extra caster, but I didnt see the need to do much more to it, it was simple and it worked...Not to stiff, not too soft.. The new owner said he has some issues with the front being too low, because he lives in the bush and has crappy roads though..guess it depends where you drive most and how good the roads you drive on are...But on the track and around Melbourne I never had an issue and my crossmemebr was maybe 120mm off the ground...I know it was just above legal height anyway..
  4. Get the grinder out and fix that.
  5. sounds like its just too high and being a boat
  6. some intereesting graphs i found..
  7. Nope, softening a front sway bar will correct understeer..so I just figured stiffening it will help with oversteer... ED* though if you look at the graphs below ther eis no clearcut solution really as softening and stiffening can fix it, depending on situation I have been reading up on this all week man cause the cressy is understeering mid corner, been looking for a solution thats what i read it as.....why are we all talking understeer now? Also i dont think rim size is going to make alot of difference, mine felt perfectly stable with 8s and 9s..dont get me worng it will help, but i dont think it is something to really be concerned with.....
  8. thats the other thing, black always makes wheels look smaller, with the big fat curvy cars they make these days you need your wheels to look bigger not smaller..
  9. i want double what Dez charged
  10. lol...beat me too it
  11. lol just read height set to standard Lower that bitch...at least the front...A simple lowering would have set your camber and avoided the need for all those adjustable arms
  12. Rear camber about 1-1.5 is good, front is fine stiffen front sway bar not soften set rear toe to 0 front to -1 ish go from.there
  13. I christmas present I think you should start a new thread, this one is old and confusing already
  14. Black rims are boring too and they look.crap in photos, I'd be looking at a black chrome or anodized style..
  15. so basically, change oil, plugs and filters, then just stand around looking at everything else saying things like "she'll be right mate"
  16. i just thought this was an interesting comparison...its coated in AMMO sealant, 2 coats and 1 of ammo creme...It doesnt do alot for the flek and colour contrast as you can see, yours has darker blacks and the purple has more pop though lighting and camera type is probably playing a part too< im assuming yours is a phone picture that usually have higher built in contrast settings.....I really wanted to use Polishangels coatings like this purple Audi, the wetness is amazing.. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=281360095379185&set=vb.279199828928545&type=2&theater but time and budget restraints meant i used what I had here....have been using the ammo system on my cressida for the last year almost, its definately holding up ok and comes up like new after every wash..but it does tend to flatten colours and metallics a bit...I still find california gold wax to give a richer shine than the ammo, but has nowhere near as good protection.....will be recoating the cres with Polishangel glasscoat next time and probably a layer of Blue xilion to try get some more colour into it...Its just looking a bit bland for my liking...
  17. wow....thats cool
  18. me too...lol...we should join forces
  19. silver is just bland on any car...always ends up looking dated after a few years
  20. graphite shadow ftw ...
  21. I have farken millions of toys my kids don't use....sounds like a good excuse to clean out the closets...
