  1. whats that left foot brake thing you got going on at the end of the straight ?
  2. ^^ yeah that was my thinking, chuck the stock airbox back in while your at it, will look more legit.... I mean if you are worried about police checks why have pods or blue hoses everywhere , smoke and mirrors will work wonders 99% of the time and having just seen pics of your bay on stance, I'd say all black hosing and factory airbox would do wonders for your bay, it would be much more photogenic and it would look standard which is what you want if your in Vic...just my personal opinion or if cops ask questions you could try say its a NUR and this model didnt use AFMs from factory

  8. meh.... you could buy 2 or 3 rb25s for that money...or a few LS chevs even
  9. Could of spent that money on an RB25. just saying ..
  10. Man there's no way that extinguisher is getting past my legs, even if it did its not going to fit under the pedal.. It can easily be mo ed to the passenger side anyway should officials complain
  11. already said I will take brake stopper...Dude not replying to pms...
  12. I doubt my brain would survive 25G ,so fire extinguisher mounting becomes irrelevant at that point.
  13. Although now I think about it, the fun in this game is in being competitive.. So now I'm questioning my existence again..screw you Ash
  14. Don't need a photo.. What happened to the fancy spacers you were making Scott.?
  15. Yes I know it's true. In Johns case he is doing what it takes to be competitive.. For your average punter that just wants to have some fun and feel the noise, power is king!!
  16. It also tells me that maybe he was pushing too hard which he may not of had to do if he already had more power to make up some time.. Sorry for the triple posts phones having a fit..
  17. Quite easily, setting your suspension up all stiff can work great on the track but can cause a car to duck, dip and dive all over a bumpy back road and quite easily throw you off the road.. What you want is a balanced package...that includes more power around 250kws is a good start, 300 is a bit ridiculous but with a 3076 you can run low boost and turn it up as you get more skills.. Also its slightly laggy nature stops you getting in trouble to quick, giving you time to point and shoot . Add to that quality shocks and brake pads and a well serviced car. That means no oil leaks and no stuffed suspension bushes and get the best tyres you can get.. Sure John is mighty quick with his setup and 220kws but it has taken him 3 years and 3 cars to get to where he is. I also dont think you will hear him complain about the extra 40kws he now has on e85
  18. Sorry not true, at high speed changing suspension geometry is just as dangerous as adding more power if you are not used to it..lets face it a Skyline will di the same speeds regardless of how much power you have, the only thing that changes is how quick you get there and this is easily controlled by your right foot..
  19. ^^ Exactly its all Blah blah blah..I got 300kws with stock brakes and diff, nothing more than braided lines/fluid a set of bilsteins and some sticky as f**k tyres.. Its no doubt its not the best on track but its still plenty quick, plenty of fun and rips a mean skid. I know you guys are always preaching this handling vs power thing but seriously, there are no rules..
  20. Oh Martin, I knew someone would complain..where would you like to see washers mate, I'll put some there for you ok..I'd love to lend you entry fee too mate but I had to beg and plead with the finance dept myself.. I find the trick is to ask just before they're about to climax as they will enthusiasticaly say yes to anything ..Bar that Just sell a kidney or something you know it's worth it.
  21. yeah, I saw it in another thread somewhere and built this the next day
  22. made from a piece of aluminium I found in the scrap bin at a truck place.. took 20 mins to make and its like 6mm thick too, so not going anywhere but meant I needed longer bolts...
  23. be nice, half my car is held together with your welds so the exhaust is awesome man, its 1 of a kind and it works.... Plus i like the way it sounds fire extinguishers are on sale at repco for 19$ for a bracket just get a straight peice of 1 inch wide aluminium..drill a hole in each end put a little bend in one end and use your seat bolts to hold it in...I did find the stock seat bolts were a tad short though and barely gripped so might be best to get some longer bolts as well..but I put mine in and with cutting a little piece of plastic seat trim I still have full movement on my seat
