  1. nice.. bargain, must fill up tomorrow....so you lovin it yet, any better times at PI??
  2. i will get around to that again oneday..in the meantime I will just keep telling people its my supercharger belt and it completely normal
  3. good tyres hey, next on my todo list..nankangs not holding on as for everybody doing their short drives and complaining that their car runs crappy..take a nice long (500kms at least) drive on the weekend every month or 2...does wonders for your engine.. If you have ever opened up a motor thats been run hot and hard you will see how clean they are.. problem is all the short drives everything tends to carbon/gum up over time..getting it hot and burning off all that gum can be as easy as a long drive, fill the tank with premium add a bottle of injector cleaner and drive till its empty..fill it up again and drive home..It can do wonders..alternatively just do donuts in the carpark for an hour...If your really fussy when you get back throw a bottle of oil flush in then change the oil too...
  4. yeah i did a full strip on it...didnt look to be in too bad condition..there was some clutch dust though... I used grease but only on the cogs I think (still a mistake i know) I used something else on the shafts, was lithium or PFTE grease from a spray can from memory... So whats the correct procedure then and i will do it again...
  5. yeah i cant really comment yet as I have only done about 80kms since tune... with 3 or 4 cold starts have used about 1/4 tank of e85
  6. seriously............who cares but most of the time on the street your off boost anyway so dont really use alot more fuel than normal... get into it hard and it will start using juice pretty quick of course
  7. lol...I used what I had laying around....but thats most probably my problem then ..would some Four Seasons lubricant do the job better next time you think??
  8. yeah you want get anywhere near boost in the wet ...not in a straight line anyway..
  9. you want lolz.. drive it in the wet..... then when your doing 100 on the freeway just squeeze the throttle a little
  10. regreased my starter and replaced all belts made no difference might try graphite powder cause wheel bearing grease probably isnt ideal
  11. lol...can also see him saying "how good is this" when he does
  12. So assuming your running a separate line from each pump.. If one pump failed, 1 pump would be enough to supply you yeah..is that the idea?.
  13. Why the dual entry Simon...?? I just have a tomei intank pump..
  14. yes it is a great database thats also full of me talking alot of vaguely related rubbish that reminds me, I didn't get a figure for pulp @ 17.5 psi on mine so I am not actually certain how much a difference E85 has made as my compressor seems maxed out either way.. ..With my previous result of 267 @ 15psi it could be fair to say that 290 @ 17.5psi could of been a possibility, so maybe I haven't really gained alot using E85..I do however believe it to be a better/cooler running, safer, fuel all round.. So any added power is a bonus really and I would happily run it even if it didnt make extra power.. Trent if you're reading and have those pulp figures could you throw em up for us..though I have a feeling we didnt do it..
  15. yeah fair point... all 4 cars are running ethanol in some form so its fair to say its fairly common place these days. I will keep it in mind next time though.. But really, what do you care if people get stars in there eyes..I mean its all here to read and learn and we are hardly accountable for them not doing their homework are we?? I have read the 200 hundred pages of this thread alone more than once....not to mention the other 4 million threads I have read here for tips and advice...If some punk wants to walk in and read the last 5 pages of this thread, get stars in his eyes, then ask a few stupid questions and think they can mimic what I,you and others here have built, well I wish them the best of luck...
  16. Im not certain the compressor is maxed and that a decent manifold could quite easily allow for a little extra up top..How many 3076s make 360kw with a stock manifold on RBs, I cant think of any off hand, but there are plenty on top mounts... So you think a larger turbine on Micks would have much effect...?
  17. Isn't Micks still internal gate on stock manifold though..stick it on a 6boob with ex gate and she could pump quite a bit more..350 maybe.. I'm rather surpised Scotts made the power it did with the auto and all..I dont know if its the larger rear housing and gate or just a dyno variance but the figure hes got now is what i would of expected from the 3071...and the figure he had before is what it should have now...
  18. I didnt know there were any rules Roy
  19. Scotty even the idea of gate and it was instant wheelspin, even at 100kmph in 4th...
  20. So I just took the car for its maiden voyage in the drizzle..that was an experience..
  21. nice didnt know that one ...
  22. faster is not backwards...unless you select R for race....
  23. thats most likely tractive effort...big difference...In reality you most likely have around 500nm
  24. No worries mate hope it helps... Try to make sure you get your injectors as a matched set with flow charts if possible..IDs come with these as standard I think XSPURT would supply you with these if you ask as well, I forgot to ask .. Its also good to get deadtime or latency charts for your specific Injectors..
  25. pretty good value.. Its never too late If I ever get done for my external gate prompting a rebuild, I would definately consider it, until then my car is fast and I am happy...
