Yeah gtx should respond real well..I say get a clutch, bigger injectors and better fuel pump and you will smash out an extra 50kws..add E85 and you could smash another 50kw on top of that..your nowhere near the potential of that turbo yet..

Yeah I was gunna say learn to clutch kick, then I read your spec list Mark and the problem is pretty obvious...your clutch is no good..your setup should be good for 350kws dude..how can you expect to get close to that with a 250kw clutch..?

Just buy crappier tyres then..

E85 is heaven for your midrange if you have access to it do it, no questions asked you will love it

yeah Scotty made one up for another guy here, pretty much same setup as mine .td06 but with 40mm compgate.. I was there when it was tuned but cant remember, it pulled somewhere between 240-260 though and held boost well.. pretty sure that 212kw must be an IG model or a gate would of been listed...no doubt there inlies the problem

yeah im not sure, the bilsteins are dreamy but my spring rate my be a little harsh..its not too bad though dont get me wrong i wouldnt change it I just prefer long open highway stretches too a little 30km blat through the spur that just doesnt do it for me, I get to one end and just want to turn around and do it again and again.. My drive up around Thredbo was amazing, as was the Blue mtns but i realize that is a bit far away but the roads were great and wide and there was plenty of good views.not sure if its covered in snow atm though....GOR is amazing also.. Anyway, why plan it, just get in the car and drive man and when the sun goes down find the nearest motel and sleep..Thats the best way you will find the best bits of road that you like

or if thats a bit much just head for Lakes Entrance, then go up the back through Bright back onto the Hume, then down through Mansfield and onto the Spur..thats about 10-12 hours driving all up..

yeah its ok but not great Sorry I should stay out of this cause i find a lot of roads in Victoria are just dissapointing especially when I take my skyline which is a somewhat harsh ride and the quality of the roads is rubbish.. there are some good roads but they are few and far between and going for a quick blast through the spur I find a little dull..its a 30 min rush often riddled with traffic anyway and once you get stuck behind a sunday driver the funs often over.... Personally I like big drives 6-8 hours + its the only way to truely get a feel for the road and your car, I would head around the coast through Lakes Entrance, maybe up to Bega then across through Jindabyne to Albury and come home on the Hume...You will find stacks of good road and could do it in 2 days easy.. might actually do it myself soon prolly not much e85 along the way though

its ok, but roads are too tight twisty and often bumpy...good if you like rally cars i guess but its a GTR ffs...much better offerings out there where you can stretch its legs a little

Take it a step further and head up through the snowy/blue mtns..only take about 3 days for a round trip and It puts grampians to shame if you ask me.. The roads are better, the scenery is better, just stay away from the local's though. My apologies to Victoria tourism but meh!!

I found by applying the KISS theory these were the results I got Rb20 drifting or hard track = tdo6-20g street with occasional track = td05-18g Rb25 drifting or hard track = t67-25g Street with occasional track = td06-20g Now there is no doubt other options outside of this but quite frankly, if you can't figure them out by yourself, well your probably punching above your weight... Anyway so what's the verdict on the SL2 fellas..seems it shapes ok to an old HG or a 3071..but is it any better or worse, cause all in all the setup is almost as expensive..

So I was just browsing kandos on ebay again and noticed that all TD06sl2 t3 10cm turbos come with anti surge covers now... Whats going on there?? I haven't noticed any surge issues apart form the huge surge of power when i put the foot down

yeah they got the rego, but chances are its a stolen car or had false plates, got to be pretty stupid to do it with legit plates... theres about 5000 cameras around the joint, plus we heard over the loud speaker "will pump 15 please stay with your car while its filling up" so they were acting suss from the start, also one of the ladys working there jumped in her car and took after them..be interested to know what happened..prolly nuffin... car was running like shit they'd busted something....
