  1. Get the housing nice an hot, bake it in the oven or BBQ, I think Scott just used a blow torch to heat up mine. The cool it slow bury it in sand or something, I'm sure Scott will fill you in soon anyway.. In other news, where's that 300kw club
  2. The ETS drift car just made 265kws. At dr drift..sr20 with tdo6 (I believe it's a kando core but not certain) on bp ultimate..its on fb I'll link it to u later
  3. no its norhing similar, its some obscure metric thread..The reason the thread is ver fine is because it has to bite into a fairly thin piece of rail..if it was a regular thread it wouldn't have enough holding to bite solidly..mine wsnt a HKS it wad a PFE rail, they could be different..if you show me a pic I can get you a bung if it's the same. Or any pipe place like Enzed and some Auto stores that stocks PFE (proflow) fittings will be able to get it, they will most probably have to order it in though..
  4. haha you did better than mime, it was overheating at 240kws on the dyno..
  5. some muppet had put a gts radiator in mine, i initially wanted to put a new core on the stock tanks but it worked out cheaper to get an ASI ...the welds dont look the prettiest but it does the job..
  6. cant remember ,its either triple or twin...but its def not single....Im pretty sure Richo uses one in his racecar.. I was having overheating problems but havent had any since...its a good unit
  7. why is this in cosmetic...??
  8. that plug f**king sucks man, I had the same problem..but i had used a thread seleant as well so it took a while to actually leak.. first it took me 2 weeks to track down the bung because it is a -6 size fitting but mine had a really fine thread on it that I couldnt find anywhere.. when i finally got one one the new problem is if i did it up too tight the o-ring would squish out, but if i didnt tighten it enough it wouldnt seal properly and I was advised not to use loctite as its not fuel resistant or something..i did get some other threadlocker that is but i still didnt trust it. Anyway long story short, I got sick of it and just welded the f**king thing in there...doesn't look pretty but problem solved... check the thread though, chances are its not a regular -6 thread..got a pic..
  9. Brett i got one of these 10" carbotics fitted too, can be a little bitey off the line, but you get used to it pretty quick and seems to be getting better the more I drive it..only has 3-400kms on it...the rest of the time its extremely civilized with heaps of bite... Also, while JB recomends the stock flywheel , I belive NPC recommend there lightened one as it has cooling channels in it..this stops it getting hot when stop starting in traffic which could be part of your problem....This will cost you another 400 or so tho.. I send you a pM bud
  10. 20mm front and back should be good..25 would be ok too..are they andypandas wheels?? he had exactly the same size for sale.....theres pics in his sale thread...i believe he was running just 20mm spacers at the front and it sits pretty good here it is.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/382672-wtt-volk-f-zero-18s-with-near-new-federal-595-rs-rs/page__p__6104041#entry6104041
  11. Got one of these, fits and works great..believe theres quite a few budget racers running them too http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/52mm-Alloy-aluminum-radiator-skyline-R33-RB25DET-GTS-T-/300715105356?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4604045c4c
  12. Doesn't surprise me really...have been to a few import lots and just thought "really" at the state of some of the cars there... Driving them often confirms initial doubts as well.. It seems to me alot are merely money grabbers taking advantage of a scene that they lost any real interest in long ago.. Next in line will be the euro scene, it seems to be trendy atm and with the price of s/h parts for euros being ludicrous, it wont be long before it is taking advantage of as well with these dodge dealers selling nothing but polished turds... i guess it is hard to blame them in a way, with the associated costs that come with getting these cars road legal in this country hardly making it worthwhile anymore..By all accounts you are probably better spending your $$$ on a mint condition falcodore for half the price .sad but true
  13. its not your tail lights maybe
  14. it doesnt even look like a car, its just an engine with wheels attached... bike is awesome to by the way
  15. which more often than not they arent...
  16. Only at the first corner, till then the game is all mine.....lol
  17. you could just paint a clear with a touch of blue pearl in it over the top, that way you keep the crazy patterns and add a blue tint to it to match the wheels..
  18. yes it is a very pretty bike, I like my girls to be pretty too, but a machine is machine, and a machine is like a man, it has no need for makeup So you see, riding that bike is like wearing a dress, in comparison to driving this monster
  19. i see your sexy ass bike and raise you this metal mountain of wtf!!
  20. Also if you are going hard on your brakes, I believe adding proper cooling ducts could be more beneficial in the short term than just getting bigger brakes..its a lot cheaper as well
  21. Of course it will, even standard brakes are fine.. How hard you brake is dependant on how fast you are going, not how much power you have, also no matter how much power you have your top speed is still limited by your gearing.. So basically if you find your brakes burning out because you are going too fast, and stopping too quickly repeatedly, then upgrade. Otherwise there is no reason you can't run 500kws and stock brakes, which on a skyline are pretty good from the factory..But yeah it is dependant on your driving not your power
  22. See, time is slow but trap speed is high, the right setup could possibly get you into 11s..but you wouldnt look as cool doin it
  23. nismo injectors for 400$ too, place is gold mine http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/X6-740CC-INJECTORS-SKYLINE-R33-SR25DET-SET-6-FREE-SHIPPING-/221000853004?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3374ad660c
  24. stupid rb20 wheres the 25 one,, on a side note ,check this thing out.. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/E85-Conversion-5-CYLINDER-kit-Ethanol-Bioethanol-alternative-fuel-/320889413965?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ab67fe14d what are the chances it would work...
