  2. Yeah I had sard 650s the yellow ones.. from memory ,I used 2 stock orings together at the top to make it seal, worked fineWhen did you buy them cause I sold mine to some guy in NSW a while back..
  3. 22 inch rims ftw..do a search..
  4. Search around a wrecker you should find something..alot of r31 stuff is similar and there is plenty of them at the wrecker.
  5. Lol no...unleaded was new, most cars still run leaded fuel or 'Super' as it was called. I think 95 only become available mid 90s Its times like this I realize just how old my skyline is..
  6. Both united servos in Frankston have it too..not on the list though..
  7. Yeah...it wasn't that great..
  8. Im going with what Nismoid said...
  9. I was actually thinking a hi amp started motor that drives a cog attached to the turbine shaft. This would just give a quick zap everytime you applied heavy acceleration when the turbo is off boost. But now I think birds idea is much better Though maybe instead of pedals we could just have a hamster wheel with some well built guinea cops on roids
  10. Don't be silly, it would be concealed under the front seat cushion ..
  11. Why not just use compressed air from a compressor to spool.. Would be as simple as plumbing a nozzle into the turbine (and or compressor) and having a solenoid rigged to open at desired rev range to keep turbo always on positive boost..you could even rig it so that the solenoid opens whenever turbo hits negative.. Seems pretty simple to me now you guys tell me why it won't work...
  12. half the reason it looks epic is cause its an ex gate..
  13. So how many Xtra batteries do I need to carry to run it?
  14. Nah dual stage Scott where 1 turbo exhaust gas feeds into another turbo, both are running continuously..
  15. Yeah sorry Joe we kinda derailed your thread.. Started off so well too.
  16. Regardless of any of it, Nathan is one of the few people that would actually cone here and give what was sometimes good advice to people trying to learn ..thats more than I could say for many of the "look what I bought" builders that come here with opinions and little else.. I would have no worries going for a drive with him and trying to improve my tune, then if shit blew up I would sit back, have a beer and a laugh and get on with life..I would come on here and tell everybody about it too without fear of slander cause it doesn't matter if you win or lose, the important thing is that you keep trying I learnt that of Charlie bear the other day
  17. Dual stage turbos.. The new ford/mazda diesels use them now..not sure how they would go in a high rev application..
  18. Oh...I thought it was cause your car blew up....lol.. , but seriously haters and trolls aside, I reckon you do alright man and wish you best of luck... Zeb y have you blown 6 engines..??
  19. yeah you dont need 260kw to write it off.....sorry to hear it
  20. That's a low blow methz.. learn from your mistakes, got to crawl before you can walk, one must brave chaos to give birth to a star... You see where I'm going with this ?I dunno if you can tune a car mate, but to me it looks really hard..just trying to get a grasp of all the different functions in my ecu is difficult..I have nothing admiration for anyone who has the balls to have a go knowing how much damage can be caused in an instant..ask any tuner around and I bet they have blown something up at some pointAny idiot can hop in a car and go fast, but it takes a wise man to make a fast car
  21. wait a minute you have an rb25...and the setup your buying is off an rb20...none of its gunna work bud... sorry...I somehow missed the bit that said RB25 and GTS-4.. no wonder everybody is so quiet.....thanx kunce...
  22. nope it replaces the whole thing....
  23. well that all depends how much experience you have had working on cars.. if you regularly service your own car and know how to spin a spanner, its not overly difficult.. If you have never changed a spark plug, it could well be a nightmare..
  24. yeah man, I sold my GCG hiflow and installed a kando td06...I have no regrets
