  1. Pull your I injector rail out, turn ignition to on and see if fuel comes out of the injectors..cause it shouldn't. If it does I'm confused why it is doin it..would seem something is wired up wrong or could be as simple as a setting in your ecu..
  2. Does that include oil/water lines?
  3. Oh ok, there's an extra extra on the extra extra... I guess Hamish buys clutches like he buys his clothes...
  4. that clutch will just hold onto 330.. NPC 10' carbotic..about 750$ Simon-s14 uses on his drift car holds 360kw no worries..Few other people have said they are great too..nice soft pedal feel allthough really if your going to race it you want the flywheel as well (it has a cooling panel to prolong clutch life) which is another 450$..but you could run without it.. thats what im getting anyway..
  5. PMR33 got a nice wet kit with purge for sale..600 I think he wanted
  6. ^^^get a hypergear...
  7. Yes It is still good value, I just think they may be a more popular choice if the price was a little lower.. The only place I think it loses out over the Link is the the lack of full sequential. But this wasnt a big concern to me.. Trent was going to to do some tests with mine when on the dyno to see how accurate the knock control was too..not sure what happened to that I will remind him next time.. but the added map sensor is definately a bonus and I'm using the inbuilt boost control too which was is easy as hooking it up to the stock solenoid, so there really is nothing else to buy, well the only other thing I needed to buy was an IAT sensor for 40$ maybe they will throw that in if you ask nicely.. .
  8. bummer u too hey...think I will have to get down and dirty and do mine the hard way in the carport..
  9. they were only released a few weeks ago.. At 1499 for the adaptronic the link still probably represents better value for money at 1600. I think if the adaptronic would drop its price into the 12-1300$ range though It would be a great buy
  10. yeah they need money blow and hookers developement
  11. Oh yeah.. silly me
  12. really...no PFC even ..I know adaptronic have just released one.... Damn another free plug, I should be getting paid for this..
  13. Yeah I know my adaptronic ecu does it too I'm just wondering if all wideband kits are able to be plugged in. Thought I read something in here about AEM kits can't be plugged in.
  14. can someone tell me if all widebands are able to be plugged into the ecu or do only some have this feature? I've been told my ECU has a learning function that can be quite handy if set up correctly but not sure if any wideband kit will do the job..
  15. Oh yeah, of course he is running NA injectors in his 25DET.... I have seen boxloads of NA injectors and they vary in colour from red red to browny red so no points there sorry bud.. Nismos are considered to be just RED... While the brownish red 480cc were mainly found in the S15 "R-spec" only, they were also available in the Autech S14...

  17. thats not bad, my BT-50 gets 700km per 55Lt.thats when the light comes on, tank is 70Lt so there is easy another 100-150km in it Towed my 33 with my little BT-50 ute the otherday..I thought it might struggle a bit, but quite the opposite, it towed it like a champion...overtaking on the freeay and all.. Tows better than my mates Foulcan ever did.
  18. Don't listen to these homos, you have the cooler now go get yourself a t67 turbo, a highmount manifold and plazmaman intake..maybe an 80mm throttle body too..chuck in a motec engine management system and 2 big bottles of Nos. Wind boost up to 2 bar and enjoy
  19. Have been told mine feels alot like a 3071/3076..
  20. Just cause it can be done doesn't mean it should be done.. Or does it.
  21. Cmon man, we all know that is a BS result...dont beleive evrything you see on the net.. Chris just get the Hypergear hiflow, proven performer with warranty. I got carried away and have 270kws now and really dont need it, but luckily I only have 1 mouth to feed so far...
  22. to be fair it was 16psi spiking to 18psi.. its an old turbo, its probably considered retro to use one these days..but retro is cool there is a good chance it maybe hanging off a HKS manifold as well, which are hard to find these days so worth 1000$ itself also could indicate the car was built years ago and the fact its still running could mean its been reasonably well looked after.. Also its not hard to swap out for a 3076r or something...see if you can get a spec list off the guy or some photos of the engine for us to look at..
  23. yeah , its so easy to carried away buying a turbo..you start of looking at a budget hiflow, then realize for an extra few hundred you can get more power.. But in reality its not that easy..cause there is always extras needed to make that power... looking back at my own mess, a budget hilfow and an ecu with a good tune is where I should of stopped..you can keep stock injectors and afm and still make a comfortable and zippy 220kw without worrying about destroying your driveline every time you sink the boot in..Plus it will still look stock should the popop start poking there noses in your business 2500$ will get you a 220kw quick and easy to maintain car 5000$ will get you a 280kw weapon and alot of headaches Its just so easy to get carried away upspecing everything....
