  1. check out Russmans build thread in projects section...hes running that turbo with twin scroll rear housing, there is some videos to watch and its very quick...running 280kw on lowish boost too
  2. its all lies..the reason the fun police dont want you breathing the gas in is because it gives an amazing feeling of euphoria and allows you to reach a higher consiousness where not only can you explore the possibilties of the human mind but you can make them a reality..if your lucky u may even meet a unicorn or pink elephant Now that you know the truth be a man and suck that gas straight outta the system

  6. i got a whole ac system at home if u need bits joe.. Otherwise just let the gas out slowly and rip it all out.. Not only does it make it easier to work on your engine but the weight savings are epic
  7. Hes had a few mustangs already so dont think he will be converting to a skyline EVER!!! I was just looking cause he is interstate.. Those Dynacorn repro shells are great..considering full rebuilds end up costing a mint by the time you replace everything, which is usually what happens.. Just start fresh, nice new crate motor/suspension/driveline of your choice and its basically a new car...without the headaches of stripping and repairing an old one..no need to do a RHD conversion..i dont know why anyone would buy an old rustbucket unless you were going to do an original numbers matching rebuild..but if your going to mod it with something like an Elenoar kit anyway this definately would be the way to go.. I wonder how hard it would be to get it registered though..can it still be registered as a club car if its not actually 40 yrs old . Would it have to pass modern day emission tests? or do old car laws apply..

  9. we had a look at 2, a fastback and a convertible..both were resprays done some time ago..both in need of some restoration The fastback wasnt too bad the driveline needed some work oil leaks everywhere..there was rust evident seeping through the seams here and there and some small holes in the passenger footwell..but it was nice and straight and the interior in good original condition.. The convertible had a dodgey respray and lots of bog in the inner door sill area,obviously where water has leaked from the hood..i was very skeptical, but the driveline seemed alot cleaner.. All in all though, looking at least 30k plus 20k maybe for restoration...wondering is it better to build one from scratch then cause apparently an Elenoar conversion is on the cards too.. Will look into those repro shells . But at over 30k a pop, is that the going rate for a rough stang these days..I remember my boss picking a reasonably clean one up for under 20k 15 yr ago
  10. Scott if you go to Peak oils on sth gipp hwy next to motorsport wheels and tyres they do them.. All the truck shops sell them as well, so do the bearing placesI think.....
  11. or just get PFC from the classifieds..personally i wouldnt bother with either cause you are relying on too many 20 yr old parts.....I'd go see Hypergear with a couple of grand and invest in a cheap boltin hiflow and a brand new adaptronic ECU package then go see Chequered tuning..( the artist formerly known as STATUS ) will yield you less headaches, faster car and value for money all round..

  14. Springy motors are good man they know there stuff..probably should get a FMIC if you havent already, then just wind the boost up (10-12psi) and go dude...stress less
  15. ^^^yeah thats what i thought too..i already have a t-piece in my boost gauge and the stock gauge is still running, I figure i just use this line that is going to the stock gauge cause I dont really need it..as hyped said that way I have a visual as well...
  16. so the boost gauge port on the back of the manifold is no good?? hose is tucked neatly with the wiring loom that runs along the firewall to the ECU so it will be fine there..its just running it under the intake plenum I dont like...
  17. RB 25....I'll only be running around 1.5bar tops.. built in map is 4 bar...
  18. ok just a quickie..ECU has built in MAP so all i have to do is run a hose to the manifold.. Now instructions told me to put a T-piece to the boost reference port on the reg which is what I have done...and it works.. But I am a bit worried about the hose running along the fuel rail as I have noticed it gets quite hot..i have put it inside some of that plastic conduit with the injector loom but not sure if this is a great idea either.. Im wondering if it is better to just plug it in at the back of the manifold, maybe where the boost gauge is or something... Or is there any reason it SHOULD stay connected to the fuel reg reference pipe ??

  20. Im helping a friend look for a Mustang, going to look at some soon Thing Is I dont know much about them.. I dont think they,re after anything in particular just something cool and in good condition for cruising not racing it..Convertibles are cool.. If anyone has any hints tips on things to look for or even knows of any good ones up for sale.. I would appreciate the imput "cheers:
