  1. yep, very lucky to be alive...though he probably wont think so when he sees fines, court and quite possibly jail time.. A Mate who only had 1 prior DD offence, is doin 2 years now for much the same thing
  2. Nah , those are the high flow units Just brand new highflows as opposed to second hand highflowed units.. So why didnt you install the EV14s..??
  3. Ok Im probably gunna look like a goose here, but I think i have it sorted just like confirmation... Im going to use the boost control in my ECU so, I get a MAC solenoid , seems straight forward but whats 3rd port for PORT 1..pressure in 2..out to top of gate 3..????? Also when wiring it up, for it to work with the inbuilt boost control in my Ecu..I assume I can just wire it into the standard solenoid wires, Is that right? Also does it matter which way the wires go around cause it activates either way when I give it power?... If I want to install a switch to turn it off and run gate/spring pressue, does this switch just go on either wire? and what does this mean, what is NO or NC fitting.. is it relevant to me at all ??
  4. thats a big ask but it is a nice looking wheel, how bigs the cover, I'd be keen to give it a go on my setup.. So i find it on there site, but does it usually comes with an L2 wheel,or is that something u have done??
  5. what is that?
  6. .6 i believe .7 for the 4 inch
  7. sure its not a non turbo radiator..how thick is it, does it have the shroud still..?
  8. Sure is.. Who makes it, surely thats not going to fit under the bonnet? ED** DW just saw your for sale thread...
  9. wow...thats a hell of manifold...

  12. dunno how I missed that..musta been looking in the events section if its not busy i might chuck the missus honda up for a larf!!
  13. can I chuck a FWD on there..
  14. hey fellas, anyone know is there gunna be one of those dyno day renewal things again this year.....
  15. Not sure if there is a DIY tut, but you will need a special glovebox lightbulb removal tool and Im pretty sure you have to take the engine out
  16. I just keep a spray bottle with water in it and mist it over if I need it..Guy at the panel shop recomended it and seems to work fine..
  17. just get yourself some light cutting compound.. i got one here Mequirs Mirror glaze 2, Finecut cleaner, was only 15$ or thereabouts... If you look on the bottles they have an indicator showing how heavy they cut on a scale of 1 to 10..its about 5...have a go with something like that and if it doesnt work maybe try something a little stronger..then work your way down to a light cut and then a sealant/wax.. Probably best to have a seperate pad for each but if you really wanna cheap out just wash the pad in hot water, it will be dry enough in the sun in about 15 minutes . I would use a fresh pad then for your wax though..
  18. wow, thats pretty cheap...The group buy on Hels Phil did was 110$ from memory, was a good cheap easy fix.....had I known this^^^ I probably would have just done it instead.. always best to buy local, makes it easier to complain if shit f**ks up..
  19. damn u, beat me to it...
  20. Sorry i have kind of hijacked your thread mate.. you have to rememebr we are talking about sidefeeds, yours are topfeed so choices are much easier.. Id say just go ID ,bosch, or Xspurt and you cant go wrong, they are all based around the same design anyway DWs are probably ok too but they arent really any cheaper, so I would just get whatever you can find locally.. DWs are about 550$, plus shipping your looking at 600$..you should find bosch injectors locally for much the same price. I did..
  21. I know you think its a great idea, because it was your idea...lol but Im not getting neo rail I looked into it but its too bulky and I think it would stuggle to fit, so just getting aftermarket rail and reg.. he threw me a good deal on the whole package, you will like it
  22. ^^how cool is that no.3 injector.. . It all makes sense once you start to think about it, better spray, better burn, better power, better economy, better emissions.. What comes out is all dependant on what you put in... Now top feed DWs aren't really any cheaper than other brands so maybe they are just as good quality. But I am just not confident yet that these sidefeed DWs are a quality item, or just an item made on the cheap to sell to a niche customer.. So i'm opting for some new tech instead.. Gettting Nismos would just be boring ...Originally I was keen to keep it all looking stock with the rail and all, but I think I already crossed that line when I put the huge EG in there.. Im Still keeping my stock airbox though So I'm getting a stubby EV14 style (Xspurt) injector, 750cc should cover me (only other option was 2000cc), will have a adj reg anyway should I need a little extra..the 1000cc injectors are 15mm longer so not sure yet if they will fit yet. I will try get some to test cause it looks like they will, but saying they will fit is one thing, actually getting them in there is another matter. Honestly, with rail and reg It will cost about the same as Nismos in the end, but I think should be better. They're meant to have great idle qualities and easy tunablity. Plus once its all setup they are much cheaper to replace or change for bigger items..
  23. keep seeing rave reviews about all the new generation of bosch (ID, Xspurt) style injectors.. they are cheap too, well in top feed anyway
  24. 900hp stock 1JZ....nice...
  25. I dunno Rolls, Mixed reviews I guess.. Plus out of the people here that have them, half of you havent even fitted them yet But that wasnt it really, I just had other ideas I had dismissed, Hyped post revived them so i looked into it and it looks good, plus now I can get the parts locally..
