  1. by the way he said the turbo is stuffed im guesssing gtsts.. buy my GCG
  2. basically because they were never really designed to have garretts 60mm turbine wheel stuffed in them, they have been modified to suit.. So while it does work it is not ideal... what you stressing about anyway just put it on and enjoy, you can always change it later on down the track, hell i may even buy the housing off you if the price is right...lol
  3. i dunno but my guess is still on the AVO .73 housing..possibly being sold under a diffferent name.. As far as i know it is the only GT30 housing available that bolts up to the skyline dump pattern http://www.avoturboworld.com/pdf/gts_exhaust_housing.pdf http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/279600-more-thoughts-about-the-rbvg-gcg-hi-flow/page__st__20
  4. it wont make much kw difference but dont worry about that.. The main thing is it will feel lots better to drive with it..just try it and see
  5. ahh ok..so there is more to this than meets the eye... i got the feeling it was just an electric supercharger...
  6. v shape? What sort of accord was it?
  7. are u putting it on a turbo or NA engine and how much power do you want it to make?
  8. I wont go into tecnicalities because I honestly dont know.. But what I do know is having a electric charger strong enough to create power under load will cause a very large drain on your electrical system.a stocl alternator simply wont cope...you can fix this with a bigger (much bigger) alternator but running that will rob your engine of power..plus the extra weight of the whole system is going to slow you down.. ..I did read a few topics years ago where people have attempted it, and the small power increase just wasnt worth the effort..
  9. that will pit alot of drain on your alternator ,added to that extra weight of the batteries needed.. Is'nt this kind of self defeating the point of having extra power?
  10. yeah my theory is the missus playing fb games all night with it sitting on a pillow getting no ventilation overheated it.. I tried everything even tried baking it in the oven..didnt work I actually reformatted it at one point, which worked for a day or so but then it went again.. mine was the model with inbuilt graphics so it cant be replaced,. There was alot of complaints about it on the net, even talk of Dell sueing nvidia..
  11. haha..yeah I wasnt actually serious man...
  12. yeah it is but i already have datalogit, just the laptop with serial port shit itself
  13. yeah new one I listed is compatible..will give it a shot..
  14. is this what your talking about http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RS-232-Serial-Port-Express-Card-ExpressCard-Adapter-/160642925895?pt=AU_Laptop_Accessories&hash=item2567108547
  15. seems they are very hit n miss though..
  16. damnit I got a dell d630 in a bag, pefrect working order except the graphics is stuffed making the screen all funky colours.(I blame stoopid facebook games).I got an old datalogit too but cant use it yet cause of the plug,, is it any better than a HAKO , cause it may be easier to buy a hako than fix my laptop..??
  17. I hear they are made in dirty backyard toilet labs by unsavoury types using battery acid and horse tranquilizers ..
  18. exactly and they wonder why theres a skills shortage.. I found a job the other day fixing pallets, was shift work but paid over 1000$ a week..I know blokes earning twice that pushing a broom at the desal plant.. Its crazy but truth is by giving people with no qualifications money often means they will spend it with qualified people which lets qualified people can charge what they likeand the people paying dont care cause they make heaps of money for nothing.....its the circle of life at the end of the day though the broom pusher is more expendable than a qualified mehanic. If there was a war the broom pusher will be on the frontline getting shot at while the mechanic will still be fixig cars ,or tanks..
  19. try a different bridge
  20. shouldn't be too long.. do you remember if the oil lines they supplied fit straight up?
  21. sooooo...recomended boost is 22psi, when you gunna turn er up battery...
  22. back seats fold down in accord but I understand the mazda is more a young persons car, its very trendy these days..we cop some flac for having an old peoples car but its a dream to drive and was owned by a grandpa churchgoer before us..the stereo was disconnected due to his religous beliefs...
  23. yeah the only thing missing on the sp23 is a turbo other than that its a great little well equiped car..the missus and I were almost convinced to buy one till we realized we could buy a fully optioned luxury Accord for the same money..
  24. so whats this then??
