  2. check the bolts that hold the turbo on ,they are probably loose .

I almost got here but my turbo choice was accidently poor.. s/h tubo kit sold as 3071 but wasnt. included all lines and custom 3inch intake ..$1500 20psi WG actuator 100$ s/h 650cc Injectors ...400$ plus testing and cleaning 100$ s/h splitfires coilpacks...400$ s/h pfc and tuning 1300$ Intercooler kit 400$ turboback exhaust made from assorted bits n pieces about 500$ Z32 afm 180$ Retune 120$ 240rwkw for 5000$$ If it had of been a 'Real 3071' (I learnt the hard way) it could of made 250-270kw maybe more, so you definately can do it. With one of hypergears turbos you should be more successful but you will need to do all the labour yourself..Only labour I paid for was exhaust fitment, Injector cleaning and the tune.. there is a few other small expenditures i havent included like silicone joiners and new plugs oil etc.. Plus my car already had a HD clutch and better fuel Pump when I bought it. I had my own tools and basic mechanical knowledge but i learnt everything else I needed to know right here EDIT..forgot the most important piece Tubortech boost controller 30$

  5. ok..sounds easy enough.. Do you think it would be best to drill a hole in the housing big enough so you can insert the steampipe into it, then weld around ,or just weld it on top..is it sturdy enough do you think, have you had many problems with them cracking?

  7. are you saying it will crack if its attached to the exhaust housing or the china manifold will crack ? Im about to attmept welding one to the ex housing, the gate is heavier than I expected so it will have to be stuck on good n proper..any tips for welding onto the cast housing

  9. you obviously missed my post...if they are pushing 300kw at 18psi on 98 , 350kw at 25 psi should be easy...and thats the T67..
  10. sorry should of mentioned that was dirt cheap cause I knew him fairly well..and I have some leftover paint from my respray.. but they supply clear and everything else needed.. the bonnet quote was just some random shop but..
  11. probably, for the amount of stuffing around its just easier to pay a pro a 100$ to do it.. I got a quote of 60$ to paint a bumper, 200$ to paint a bonnet so it shouldn't be too much to do some skirts.. I would buy a litre of paint though anyway so you have it there for future needs.It goes a long way, take it to the panel shop with you, they will have thinners and clear coat you just need to provide the colour

  15. their suggested boost is 1.5 bar (21psi you havent even hit that yet ..lol) and its capable of 2.8 bar..so even at 2 bar of boost on a built engine without e85 i reckon it could get close to 400kw.. what you think?
  16. well he needs a bigger turbo then...lol how many psi u running Battery? No doubt that GTX will need a built engine and with a built engine and more boost the T67 could get up over 350 id think.. If your spending that much then 800$ is poo change so why not just buy the T67 and give it a shot if your not happy sell it and go bigger oh and everybody has access to e85,
  17. i think the only comparison that needs to be done is price T67..800 GTX 3582...over 2k.. Is it nearly 3 times as good? probably not, it probably is better but by how much is any ones guess.. If money is no object just get the best and buy with confidence , however if your on a budget the T67 is choice.. The T67 has already proven 11s are a peice of piss with a stock rb25, throw in some nos and some practice it will no doubt do 10s with a built engine it may do 9s.. Now how much faster can the GTX3582 really be?

Charles in Narre warren (just down the road from your work) behind the servo on the corner of vesper dv next to beaurepairs is a paint shop go see them..problem is you cant put 2pac in a pressure pack though, but go ask them anyway.. alternatively go to paint mobile in dandenong, cnr of cheltenham rd and bennet st..
  21. if you dont want it to rust just throw some clearcoat on it..but true you could get a glare at times.. As for repainting i just gave mine a quik rub with a fine wet n dry then sprayed them with satin black high temp (heatproof) paint..look good as new and was piss easy and heatproof paint should withstand the sun for years Marko they actually look pretty cool cause you have done such a good job..wether or not you should keep them is up to you but they dont look too bad.. I'd paint them with clear undercoat (to prevent any rusting or surface corrosion) and leave them for a while then if you change your mind just spray black on them.. too easy

  23. well if your dumb enough to nail the throttle IN the corner yeah..but read again you will notice it says drive OUT of a corner.
