  6. I dont think it has anything to do with the nuts welding themselves into the head. As the manifold gets hot because of its long design it twists, this puts excess stress on the studs and they must either fracture or just get weak in the middle causing them to snap when you try to remove them..I doubt wd40 can solve this problem but you can try..
  7. 5 of mine broke in trying to get them out..you can drill them out ,in fact you probably have to, but the thread shouldnt need to rebored unless its drilled by a butcher
  8. yes do it if u in melbourne call "The Thread doctor" about 100 to 150$ he will come to you and replace them all you will have take the manifold off of course..or try any mobile mechanic should be able to do it
  9. prices i was given to tune my pfc car. AVO..450 STATUS...650 Racepace...900 I guess u get what you pay for. But considering shifty spent alot more than $450 i would expect better

  11. 2:5 inch will be fine to 200kw.. Probably a bit more But i still adivse you get the 3 inch bellmouth dump as this will make alot more of a difference than the whole exhaust.. Btw mine will be for sale shortly (hint hint ) 100$ delivered.. So is my turbo that made 222rwkw at 14psi...if ya interested...lol

  13. 2.5 is fine.. My car made close to 300 engine hp (185rwkw) with a 2.5 inch exhaust standard intercooler and turbo on 11psi.. But a 3 inch doesnt need to be loud and is just as good and if you do want more power later you wouldnt need to change it... But now you do.. I really dont care what you do though, u asked for advice and we gave it..

  15. yes but the smaller one will be more responsive and it should make that power if It was on e85.. think I'll stick with the sl2 its more suited to my current setup, I dont need over 300kw
  16. lol ..i'm actually trying to find them but no luck I did find this though but anyway Im not saying the 3 inch cover is no good It may be fine my main point as stated by Trent was the manifold being too restrictive for the turbo so I dont see the point in putting a turbo on that the manifold cant flow, may as well go a size down if wishing to retain standard manifold.. Do you think its a better choice than the sl2-20g?
  17. 295 at the wheels is close to 350 at the engine .. Your exhaust flows engine hp not wheel hp..
  18. yeah i have spoken to him, in person he has seen my turbo and he told me to sell it and buy another one by the time I sell this it will almost cover the costs so it will be cheaper to go Kando f*k it its all going on ebay when i get home...lol
  19. You said you wanted 220kws that is over 350hp you realize.... Even with stock turbo and 10psi you are pushing 300hp.. Just get the 3 inch..
  20. i found some results with that turbo and they werent to flash.. As i said ultimate power would be nice but for the price and extra stuffing around im happy to trade power for response if I can..I am not looking at the td06 JUST because it is smaller but because it is more suitable for the application all round... Trying not to rush into turbo choice this time Scott, did that last time and look where it got me...I though I was getting a 3071 didnt I

  22. doesnt work that way that turbo has proven to not so successful. As i said its too much power on a stock mani.. Of course i would like t67 power but itstoo many extra coat and i would like my engine to last so 260ish would be fine..now seeing as im going smaller may as well trade some power for response. So while it may not have the ultimate top end of the t67 it should be better everywhere else..
  23. its got nothing to with response, the tdo6sl2 has a smaller .6 compressor housing doesnt it, so it should low mount alot easier and work better with the standard manifold.. Tis the only reason I wanted it over the t67..
  24. get a 3 inch for sure bud.. standard nissan cats are pretty good youd be better to invest 200$ in one of these http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=17317 they make a shitload of difference to the feel of the car, you wont regret
