  1. I live in Frankston...I see this daily, dont even need to leave the house...
  2. Yeah, I usually just get a bottle of plonk... Much classier.
  3. There was actually speculation that the drift wing caused it..
  4. and some sort of ignition source no doubt.... other than that........... nope
  5. well that escalated quickly
  6. GTOs are cool as f**k....WRXs are not...they are practical.....practical is gay.....Birds wins...
  7. Damn...thw work Corolla clocked 345,678 last night and I wasn't there for the photo oppurtunity..
  8. That sounds like an insult to my sincerity...
  9. Slowly slowly....3inch dump back in....figure 200kws of something is better than 300kws of nothing
  10. Dont know, I've never driven it.
  11. hey birds, does ya mum want a 4 inch dump for her soarer by any chance.. ?
  12. Yup, all the power is in them dumps aye, those baby twins will pump 300kws and do 10s with a little help from a Nos bottle... But mostly it helps stop heat buildup killing your turbines Anyway, think I'll just chuck the 3inch back in for now...just a pain doing dumps later but need it running..hasnt moved for 3 months.
  13. Are you still on That bandwagon Alex. Dont care if its 8 or 18 or 10.7 , its not justified.. How about spend a billion building a road and a billion relocating everything in its path... There I just saved Victoria 8 billion dollars...give or take... Tunnels are shit...
  14. nah I bought a 4 inch dump, was off a soarer..was told it should fit but didnt... might just make twin 2.5 now, sell this one off..
  15. so the engine went in and the dump pipe is where the steering rack wants to be....engine out again
  16. theres a boost button!?!?! Anyone wanna come help put an engine in my car.....finally got a day off...
  17. Who cares, how much you use,and how much it costs..If it makes more power, which it does in pretty much 100% of boosted engines, its a win...
  18. Its funny how quickly people forget how close this city was coming to having no water supply... May as well turn it on now and start pumping water out to arrid parts of australia that need it...better farming, more revenue from produce, pays for desal...win win It was a useful project, Having it sitting there doing nothing is the waste of money....
  19. see above, high speed autobahns surrounding the city vs small crappy tunnel going under it...
  20. really, you didnt look too hard then.. cause the 17bil plus figure has been thrown around alot.. As Aaron said, 8bil was just the first stage Hoddle st to citylink...to get a similar return form tolls as citylink would require a 30$ toll just for this section... first link i clicked on http://www.smh.com.au/business/if-you-thought-using-a-toll-road-was-costly-try-building-one-20140811-102i5o.html (Its the age so take its credibility with a grain of salt ) anyway its beyond the point... 8-10 billion is jsut as ridiculous when a normal road would cost a tenth of that..this is an excercise in vanity at the expense of every other Victorian that doesnt give a rats ass about how pretty Melbourne city is...eastlink cost 1B, citylink costs 1.8B...can you imagine the traffic flow if we built 10 more eastlink type motorways...sure you might have to drive around the city not through it, but thats alot of nice driving roads going everywhere vs one shitty smoke filled tunnel going nowhere.... Think about it, we can build high speed Autobahns all around the city for this type of money..
  21. And just to get an idea of how much 18 billion is in comparison to the countrys road infrastructure budget... This is the 7 year budget, btw not just 1 year The Syndey harbour tunnel was built for just over half a billion .... I don't care what anybody says 18,000,000,000 is just insanity.. If it is really that important to have this connection, just go over the top, or through the middle...It may be ugly but it will work and you can spend the money save on painting it pretty colours or putting up giant bird sculptures or some rubbish to hide its ugliness..An elevated road would also have the advantge of great city views despite the miserable people living in the shadows beneath...or better yet beuild more damn freeways to take people around the city, not everybody wants to drive through it.... Personally I don't care how ugly it is because I dont live there, and when i drove past i dont stop to look really...so why do my taxes have to pay for it.....I also dont want to be paying any more ridiculous tolls...it already costs me 20$ tolls to get home from the airport, do I save that in time or petrol...I doubt it , when it only takes me 20 minutes more to come down nepean hwy and with the money save I buy a little extra fuel and a 6 pack of beer.. So sorry melbourne but if this road is really THAT important...just go over the top, or plow through the middle.... I imagine it will cost maybe 10% of what this tunnel will... relative link attached >>> http://www.smh.com.au/business/if-you-thought-using-a-toll-road-was-costly-try-building-one-20140811-102i5o.html
  22. lol yeah.. we need an 18million dollar tunnel so scotty can get to his tuner quicker..... btw i would like a Frankston to Phillip Island tunnel, that raceday traffic is a bitch.. but really it would be Alot mroe cost effective if we could just mow down a bunch of historical landmarks and the melbounre zoo, and move the cemetery, its only full of dead people anyway and just plow a tunnel right through the guts,,I mean they didnt think twice about destroying Albert park for a racetrack that gets used once a year , whats the big deal here....
  23. nope, unless its been replaced by some dodge bolt from bunnings that is more likely imperial not 11mm
  24. so 340mil wasted on tunnel project.. who do we blame for this one..?
