I have usually always used carnuba my cars, Mothers california gold to be exact, an oldie but a goody I decided to try a synthetic spray sealant for a change cause applying carnuba wax is a pain, and have noticed that dust seems to attract and stick to it alot..i never had this problem with the carnuba wax. Is this normal or maybe just the product Im using. The bead is amazing, It does give a very nice silky finish and the finish is still there after washing but I literally had to scrub to get this dust buildup off in some places..Also after washing the dust doesnt buildup as bad again, its just after the intial application. Any idea??

of course... its real nice now actually , last tune he knocked a bit off the top back to 235kw ( although this could be cause I went back to a panel filter as well, its quieter and I fell it gives a smoother transition onto boost than a pod) but made more power and torque everywhere else at a few hundred revs earlier.. first tune I hadn't replaced my fuel filter, it must of been dirty cause I put a new one in and it stuffed my tune, Trent worked his magic on it and i was shocked.. Its on this page, check out the differences.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/55845-rb25-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/page__st__700 All the torque comes in earlier and its a rocket of the mark, dies out after 6000rpm like yours, as the small housings are restricting it, but the power and response down low and thru midrange is great. yours should make about the same I'd imagine, but you would be better with larger injectors and Im not sure about stock afm going to 250kw i think you'd be pushing it.. If you have the standard 21U rear housing I think realisticly 210-220kws is about as much as it will take on a racetrack as it gets too hot (well so Richo tells me) but I only street it so i hope it wont stay hot long enough to do any damage. If I was going to track it regularly I would be dropping my boost back a few psi.. But I really dont think its your tuners fault, about 215 is all your setup will make 'safely'. If you want better results get a 20psi actuator z32 afm, injectors and fuel pump take it back for a retune and I reckon you should see around 230-240kw too. Hows your clutch? I was recomended the 480cc s15 injectors, they will do the job great and are super reliable, I went bigger because I picked em up pretty cheap and I wouldn't mind tuning for e85 someday, Im hoping this will see me close to 250kw and 500nm, fingers crossed

not sure about the other boxes but T56 still has 1:1 in fourth, 5th is overdrive, 6th is warp speed

thanx birds i was so blined by the WG issue I forgot to mention that the reason I say its WG is because to my knowledge theactuators with the bent arms to suit the skyline housing only come in 7 or 14 psi. If there is stronger ones I couldnt find one.

well from my experience I was only getting 14psi and 220kw before the WG would push open and it couldnt make any more power, for 100$ we modified a 20psi actuator to fit by bending the arm and adding some washers to get the right angle and now gets 19psi and 240kw. Its a bit rough but it works, My exhaust temps will no doubt be through the roof if I stay on booost for to long but its just a streeter so Im not to stressed,ill get some pics of the WG if you like. i have no idea what a AVCR is so I cant help you there

Id be getting an SP20 mazda or SR2 ford for about 10k personally if you still want a hatch that is actually just saw a sss pulsar hatch for 6500 looked nice, post some pics later

changing to a pulsar or corolla is pointless if he already has a civic. How is it uncomfortable, suspension wise or just seats. How is it unreliable, has it got heaps of kms on it.. As long as theyre serviced hondas dont miss a beat, i just dont understand how it could be so shit unless its old and unmaintained.

sounds like you have a 14psi wastegate actuater, if so I beleive theres your problem. But your tuner should have told you this. You can get a 20 psi one, but it will probably need to be modified. Does your wastegate actuator have a bent arm?

yeah at first I was with the haters as well, I thought its a pointless and fruitless excercise, I still do. i mean what is really to be gained from this, A bit more top end speed? maybe but how fast are you driving fuel economy? Well only on the highway maybe, put with the cost of the conversion its self defeating But if I wanted to see someone spend/waste money on a car I would rather see someone do this than spend/waste 5000$ trying to fit an ugly as aids veilside bodykit Tremec T56 are a decent box at roughly the same price s/h as a r33 5 speed, if there was a conversion kit for lets say under 1000$, im sure many people would consider it as well. But without a ready made conversion its alot of work and not for the fainthearted or those without engineering skills or a fat wallet But Ash is right this guy has no clue whatsoever so I was just daring him to do it cause I know he wont

I think Terry that a big part of the problem is, although you live in the Blue mtns where Im sure the air is crispy clean and fresh the bulk of the people pushing this movement are city dwellers breathing in smog all day. Im not argueing for the carbon Tax at all, its ridiculous, but if you think about who the bulk of the people voting for it are, it kind of make sense thats its happening and we probably wont stop it. There is no harm in trying but the Greens got alot of votes last election remember

i looked around on this topic when I first seen it for shitsngiggles and found a thread from America. http://forums.nicoclub.com/tremec-tranny-for-rb-t448047-40.html Basically guy was all set to make a Tremec T56 speed adapter kit ( I beleive if you were going to do this the Tremec T56 box would be your best option as its strong and readily available pretty cheap, about 1500-2000 as you said ), he had it all drawn up and was getting prices, all he needed was enough people in a group buy to make it happen.. It didnt happen!! So I think you should do it, then report back here and tell us all how good it is..

yeah, beleive it or not I have just now (literally half an hour ago) discovered tethering, which I can do with my N97 , it even has the app installed already i just didnt know it. But unfortunately it doesnt connect with android. I did read of some patches that COULD work but didnt seem to have to many supporters. ..so back to considering laptop or getting W7 tablets form asia which are way better specd than local offerings for around 400$. But a pain if warranty becomes an issue...

anybody tried any of these Ebay tablet pcs, they range from 50-300$ running android.. been looking at the flytouch 3 in particular, but dont know anyone thats got one, its only for fun so cant really justify 700$ for an Ipad I only want to surf and be able to have it in the car for the kid to watch vids on long drives.. Not quite sure how to get internet on the go, I have data on my phone plan can I use this sim card somehow, dont really want to fork out for a seperate card.. optus sell a samsung galxy is meant to be really good but bit or there is the optus mytab on prepaid one for 150$. its pretty ordinary, doesnt play vids well and is only 7inch anyway..

what about PEAK oils, any one tried them..

yeah ebay ones from UK are good, bit fiddly to fit cause the leather is much thicker than standard but they are good
