  1. haha, nah, i think they just wanna make the scene more dramatic than it needed to be, possibly there way of protesting for cyclists rights or something..
  2. haha vinyl wrapping, there is a commodore i see in melbourne occasionaly that has been completely covered in carbon fibre wrap...looks hilarious..
  3. yeah some times less is more.. First time around i just touched things up a little. things that were silver got a thin coat of silver paint as did the things that were black and it looked good and neat.. Second time around i decided to coat everything thicker and add some clear to really make it shine, now the painted things look too good for the rest of the bay and it just doesnt quite sit right.. That and i managed to spew petrol all over my fresh cam covers and they are now f**ked.. but before you paint anything get in there with a can of degreaser and a rag and clean everything up, no point painting things and putting them in a dirty bay
  4. theres been a stack of accidents this week, i seen 3 cyclists get knocked off in St Kilda yesterday. was kind of funny they just lay on the ground and wouldnt move like they were playing dead, blocking of most of Beac parade in the process. Damn pushbike riding drama queens Pretty sure there was nothing wrong with any of them, there was no blood or anything even the guy that hit them appeared to be laughing a little as he called for help..
  5. ^^^tis nice..
  6. ^^^That looks awesome Buddha Id stay away from green cause its not sexy and stick with yellow cause it is hot.. The easiest, cheapest way i reckon is you just rub it back a bit till you start seeing undercoat, fill scrathes and such with spray putty as you go, then spray yellow over the top again..this way you dont have to worry undercoating it again or about door jams, under bonnet etc For best results you can hire a proper spray booth for a day as well, prepare it first then drive it to a spray booth ,mask it up and spray, then drive home and cut it and your done.Have seen a few people do this with some great results..One of which was a bright yellow panelvan and the guy had never painted before and it looked great
  7. I like to go out for a good night I also like to go out just to get drunk And sometimes i like to go out and do both
  8. you dont have to take your cam cover off to do gaskets though. Edit ..i just read clutchs thread and all it says is undo screws and take covers off except he said it in 100 words what i said in 10.. Plus the bolt under the TB is piss easy if you take the TB off first. Anywaygo figure it out yourself its not that hard, f**k even cluth figured it out on his own. if i wanted respect points ill go play NFS Good luck
  9. you dont have to take your cam cover off to do gaskets though.
  10. tis pretty easy man, undo the screws that hold them on, replace gaskets and refit covers..do not over tighten screws and make sure nothing falls in your engine and it couldn't be easier..
  11. just drill a heap of holes in it..
  12. well it is cheaper to buy, but not necessarily cheaper to run
  13. cam covers front cover cooler pipe. It was mint one and rooted the next .
  14. i did find a few clamps not as tight as they could of been . If that has fixed the problem im not 100 percent sure yet. I only got it running that morning so guess thats price i pay for rushing it. Anyway im so annoyedf for spilling petrol all over my fresh paint and effing it that its coming apart again and getting powdercoated, Ill get the tune checked out again then..
  15. and just ask for a flow test anyway, they mat not need cleaning, but if you ask for both you will probably get charged for both. A flow test is cheap like about 10$ each I got mine tested and only one actually needed cleaning..All up cost about 90$

  18. but i cant see the cars?
  19. Hate to say it but Im with Dave mate, Its a front wheel drive gear oil, think honda, focus or lancer where the gearbox shares a housing and oil with the diff. (Front-engine / Front- drive) type transmission with mechanical LSD Notice its says with not AND Pretty sure it wont do any harm, but also pretty sure its not designed for your gearbox either.. Id be shooting motul an email and ask them. While your at it have a crack at them for wording their descriptions poorly
