  1. I think the real problem is you need a new job.. I had a an exedy HD safari tuff clutch in my ute, driving 8-10 hours a day, 5 days a week your leg gets stronger after a while and you dont notice it.. So i get a new BT-50 and all i can say standard clutches are f**kin rubbish It feels all wrong ,doesnt bite when i want/expect it too and even though its only done 50oook i want to change the clutch it shits me that much with its lame spongyness. But guess ill have to wait till it dies which could be a while, I know guy with 330,000kms on his stock clutch Harden up princess..
  2. yeah i got a black one thinking it was anodized but turns out ws powdercoat which i was advised was not good so I stripped it (that was fun) pretty sure it will make next to zero difference but boredom can do strange things to a man. oh to the guy running 168kw , i was doing 185kw with stock cooler and no problems so dont expect a cooler to solve it, Id say you might have other issues
  3. yeah but i was talking about a thin coat of black paint on the intercooler not ceramic coated exhausts.
  4. speakin to a guy at natrad the other day and he reckons intercoolers perform better with a thin coat of black paint on them waddayareknfellaz?
  5. i was told about 50 to 100 if it was a simple sand and buff job, about 200 for a respray
  6. this anpr system is that why they have the camera a few hundred mtres before,? What would you have to have against you to get picked up ?
  7. Shannons also require an impeccable driving record dont they?
  8. GIO Would AAMI insure it, my missus has AAMI and is only allowed 1 mod..I also have my ute with AAMI for about $800 each ,full comp no excess which is pretty cheap I think Surprised RACV was cheapest, what mods do they allow? They quoted us heaps more than AAMI.From memory was at least $400 more So did just cars which sux cause i really want to lower her car
  9. yeah my paint job was 1 year old when my staffy decided to run all over my bonnet and scratched the hell out of it I wasnt happy.. Asked a few panel beaters and they all said it was pretty easy job and wouldnt cost much.Depends how deep its scratched

with matching cattle prod,or better yet a tazer.... Its subliminal
  14. pretty sure the process is much the same , just remember your final metallic coat you cant sand. So you have to take extra care n your final coat to get it as perfect as possible The trick I read somewhere was to spray clear on your final metallic coat while its still tacky let it dry, then another coat of clear and then you can sand again.. I ahve used this method to spray my dash (metallic charcoal) and my cam covers (metallic silver) and they have come up pretty sweet.

they are scum, burn their friggin house down dude , then they will have to move.. Bar that make their lives a misery, call police child prtection your council anyone you can think of to make their life hell, make up stuff about them if you have to, but its alot of effort when you could just burn their house down..Which is what they will probably do yo you if they find out you been dobbing on them..
  16. yeah the Westernport i went through but didnt get picked on, but there was about 10 cars there and the van with a camera at the roundabout. I also seen them on the dandy bypass, boundary rd mordy and eastlink last week before that accident even happened..Not sure whats got there knickers in a knot but Its a blitz alright.. On a side note seen a sticker on back window of a car today "VICTORIA - THE NANNY STATE" and another had the word 'FINED' written next to his number plate.. I like them both..
  17. " Ask any racer. Any real racer. It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning." Sorry ,couldn't resist
  18. Well theres something i didnt know, damnit my cars sitting out there soaking in 1$autobahn degreaser cans now and i cant hose it cause its in bits... What I usually do use though is just truck wash, I spray it on,in and under my vehicle and let it soak overnight then hose at carwash the next day.. Amidoinitright?????
  19. yeah, if you take it off and cut up a coke can and use it to cover the hole then bolt the bov back on. if this stops the problem then get a new bov..
  20. 2000rpm is about when your turbo makes boost, so ill take a guess at maybe your bov is knackered, you could try blocking it off with a piece of tin and see if it fixes it. NB.. I am usually wrong
  21. +1 this guy, nothing wrong with hosing down your bay, cars can drive in 2 foots deep water so obviously the engine doesnt mind getting wet. Do try not to oversoak electricals or your coilpack cover and you shuldnt have any worries. If you use a decent degreaser or wash it will do most of the cleaning work anyway then you are really just rinsing it off..
  22. whats it sound like?
  23. Ill take the fan shroud if u still have it..
