  3. Your right, so lets budget this for the young fella 50$ stamp duty, but make sure you fill the transfer formout to say you only paid 800$ for the car 50$ for a slide hammer a rubber mallet and some sandpaper 100$ bog, you will need quite alot 20$ some white spray paint, 3 or 4 cans should do a proper good job 40$ for a good set of beer goggles so you think you panel beating effort was adequate. 10$ for some new windscreen wiper blades very important. 50$ for a really dodgey roadwaorthy, you may have to share some of your beer with him aswell, and dont be surprised should he ask for sexual favours, just oblige Thats 320 big ones which leaves you 680 buckeroos, just enough to pay the 12 months rego and get stoned.. Dont worry about insurance thats only for people who crash their cars. Tooo easy
  4. How is that funny I'd say its friggin dsigraceful
  5. The imbalance wouldnt have something to do with the independent diff centre being solid mounted, as opposed to older style vehicles where the centre can move up and down with the suspension thus helping to releive some of the imbalance would it? traybak utes i have noticed also have 2 piece shafts, I started wondering why and my logic was that when you fully load them up there is not alot of rear suspension travel (they are basically designed so they can run on the bumpstops). If your engine/box is vibrating away but the diff is solid I figure this is where the harmonic imbalance could stem from.. Just another one of my homebaked theories..
  6. I just got a 52mm fits perfect with original fan in place, heaps of room dont stress...
  7. what a pile of junk unless your a panel beater or mechanic of some description your looking at at least 5k to get that thing even looking like a roadworthy vehicle again

  17. well who could refuse an offer like that... Was gunna join up a year ago but my car died so I spent most of last year and most of my spare cash modifying it when all i really needed to do was tighten some bolts, but dont tell my missus that ok, its our secret.. But it seems to be running well now, so time to get out and break stuff so i have an excuse to change it again.. APP sent and paid...

  23. hows this for cliche.. Im out back of bumf*k idaho today and mate asks me to drive him down to this caravan park to do something he had to do. So i roll down there, cruise into this park where there's clapped out falcadores everywhere ,with all the yokels looking at me ,no sure if it was disgust, envy or whats that doin here ,when this guy comes out to have a look at my car.. "awww, shes a skoiliner, awww, and its a manual noice, is it a turbo?".. I thought of this thread and somehow managed to contain my laughter
  24. Hehe, well according to what im told on these forums driving an R33 makes you a bogan or a fully sick lebo and if your not one you must be the other..Its ok I drive one too.. I also live in a heavily boganated area and for some reason they think my street whih is about 300m long with 3 speed humps makes a great racetrack, i hear burnouts and screaming engines almost daily and in the 4 years i lived hear not once has it been an import.it is absolutely everytime a Falcodore of some description and never a good one, always some P-plate junker or wannabe petrolhead. It is odd the stigma attracted to them though, i will often strike into a conversation with someone about my car, and it will be met with "oh yeah" but say you own a commodore v8 and their eyes light up..Tell them your car performs really well and corners really nicely for instance you get "oh yeah", tell them it can rip huge burnouts and their eyes light up once again.. As ususal though, Its clear that its not the performance enthusiasts that damage the scene, its the people that think they are. Same goes i guess for police, its not the ones that are into performance cars that are unfair, its the ones that think they know the difference.
