    A Warning To All.

The only time to take short cuts with cars is when your driving them.
  2. You say u just got new rims, are they decent tyres or no namers..Ive seen people have similar problems and its been el cheapo tyres that lose there sidewall rigidity..Or are just or are just crap.. If possible try a different set of good wheels/tyres, before forking more cash out... I been chasing a wobble in my ute for ages. I got an alignment but it came back again, guy tried to blame my tyres (no doubt hoping i would buy new ones of him)... and then tried to charge me for a wheel balance a week later (why wasnt this done or checked the first time)...not wanting to throw money at another ripoff mechanic i checked it out myself ..Turns out its the centre bearing on my tailshaft stuffed, makes the whole car vibrate at 110km But if its through your steering wheel and its not tyres its most probably front end related..ie: bushes bearings if you told the person at the alignment shop its happened again you think they could have the decency to look around for the problem instead of charging to do the same dodgey job again...
  3. Can i be .. Arthur T3 .. BTW...site is working awesome now guys, wheres the collection plate?
  4. haha...i heard somewhere the other day ,radio i think..... In america theres an advertisement offering free ak47s when you buy a dodge truck... 5. I know of some clay shooting clubs around franga ,mornington..beleive there used to be a gun club in clayton somewhere too...Not sure if this what your looking for but... Im sure if you ask the guys at the Gun shop in Frankston they'd point you in the right direction... http://www.truelocal.com.au/business/miall...-shop/frankston
  6. I agree,no real sports car should be FWD...so they fail as a sports car, but as hot hatches they are great Integras tend to be heavier than the hatches and i believe the engines are the same, so better of with a hatch I've heard of preludes running mid 12s with some mild mods but there not good for much else..
  7. The average joe can afford a Honda!!! I was thinking of budget everyday cars such as integras civics and even the old crxs..which is what this thread was was about, I would hardly put these cars is in the same class... But while your here the s2000 and Aerial Atom can put up a good fight with the cars you listed Most people that have a let a Honda into there life for a period of time will have a soft spot for them, those that have driven one around the block will say its not as good as skyline or wrx, and in some ways there right. In others there all wrong...
  8. As far as registerable Go-karts go Honda makes the best IMO... Yes they are better when tuned but unfortunately expensive and dont reap big rewards for money spent, but lightly modded they are just plain fun if you like to drive a car hard in traffic Nissan make better/tougher cars that are far more tunable for sure, and are easier to brag about but the Honda is better to nip down the shop for milk in..If you live in the city that is
  9. For the record mine had nothing to do with not giving way at the roundabout!! i was well in the roundabout before he was even there, but i seen him coming down the road hard to miss a fire truck at full noise. It was the events after the roundabout that was an issue
  10. drove my wifes Honda accord melbourne to adelaide, first time with factory fitted michelins, second time with slightly fatter kumho ecstas...there was no difference..
  11. just a short note on media portrayals and such.. I 'Accidently' caught a snippet of Neighbours the other day and noticed one of the mums was getting dropped off by some bloke in a old red holden trayback ute with mags , to which one of the younger boys remarked "What are you doin in the car with him, dont you know hes a hoon." To this she repilied, "Nah hes alright" Now im not sure where this story is going but i may find myself intrigued enough to actually 'accidently' watch it again...If i can drag myself away from Today Tonight
  12. was driving along the other day, when , as i entered a roundabout i noticed a fire truck approaching lights and sirens going from the right. i went through the roundabout and sat in the left lane so he could pass.. After the roundabout this fire truck sat on my bumper for quite a while and i figured he must be turning left and want me out of the way so i moved to the right lane and proceeded. I watched as the fire truck tailed the other guy in the left lane i was driving behind.. Anyway about 1-2km down the road when it was only single lane , here comes the fire truck again full throttle..I had nowhere to pull over so he could pass and he was again sitting on my bumper so i sped up a little as i could pull to the side in about 100mtres..This crazy bloke overtook anyway, despite the fact we were cresting a hill.. Then a few more kms down the road we slow down for roadworks, so i caught up to him again.. His sirens were now off and he slowed to the left lane so i overtook him..Now this guy gives me dirty looks as i pass..Then, we come to traffic lights, i stop and am sitting there when i get a tap on my window and some old geriatric alcoholic looking fireman screaming abuse at me.. I told him to get f**ked as i tried to let him passed twice and gave him plenty of chance to do so. He complains that i sped up ,but when a truck is flying up behind you that quick its kind of a natural reaction, and i only did so to pull over where there was room.. He wouldnt listen so i told him to get f**ked again..He carries on about how he can report me and whatever..As i have my work number on my ute , sure enough i get a call from the office that there had been a complaint. I was tempted to go to his station and make a complaint against him but couldn't be bothered...I got better things to do I know i did the right thing is all that matters..
