True but its hard to feel sexy driving a stock old EA...and with all those hot uni girls to impress...mate get the ford, any ford , preferably black or red, or that electric blue colour....and fill it with hot uni girls, then take photos, preferably with boobies..then post them here for the boys..... Or ...Theres a nice evo7 for sale in the for sale section for 24k...

seen a VN accident a few months back..in a 60 zone, mid afternoon.. somehow this young VN driver had managed to get airbourne enough hit a van carrying 2 people in the windscreen.. Needless to say they guy from the van was on the side of the road in severe shock after being hit in the face by a VN The VN was laying about 50 mtrs up the road with the whole rear end, diff and all sheared off from the window back, laying in somebodies front fence... the guy was still sittin in it looking quite dumbfounded as to why the back of his car was so low.. .no doubt he felt cool for a moment. Was quite a sight,i have no idea how the hell he done it Also that family that ran into the truck yesterday....nudda VN...VP actually...there fun to drive but id hate to crash one..deadly

Really what has the typhoon won, the hearts of a few aussies, a couple of drag races maybe...Truth is, most of the rest of the world have never heard of it!! Ford won Le-mans 3 times with the GT40, some 40 years ago, they have been riding that pony ever since.. Nissan conquered the world with the GTR and is continuing to do so 20 years later Yeah valve springs is what i meant by that, not a big issue but an issue none the less...

But i am right about it never being a Godzilla, something you conveniently sidetracked around As for selling gangbusters in the USA.. well thats not hard there poulation is huge so not really a valid argument..because Ford USA, have stated....They are not interested...And they would not sell heaps in england, they are too big and too thirsty.. If they would sell heaps they would be importing them already, so you see, i am seeing the world as it really is because it is not being exported I know The Fords are quick, I also know people have been sticking huge turbos on taxis for 20 years and running tens, so its not really anything new to me... The RB is old, true, but The GTR is a thourougbred and always will be...the typhoon to me is still a taxi with a turbo and a few other pretty bits.. And if you have read the thread i did tell him to get the ford....Its a better option...It is NOT a better car.....

Yeah , i agree the bravo is luxury compared to an old datto...Though it is basically still very primitive in design Guys dont think for a second, i dont compression brake, and i heel n toe so much i dont even think about it anymore But the way Pete was talking sounded like he was just putting the foot on the brake ... As for fanning the clutch, its something i do rarely cause it is not great for the car, But I did put a high performance exedy clutch in it , which is great..Though probably overkill for my ute, I try make the most of it I am not trying to brag about my driving styles for any other reason than i usually do what is best for the vehicle cause i need it to last...other driving styles will get a better performance result, but these ways are better to make the car last.. Brakes are a lot cheaper to replace than a shagged gearbox or clutch.. I guess I've taken Pete a bit out of context and same has been done for me...Shit happens.. And this discussion is going nowhere.....

sorry did i read this wrong?
-
your a closet vault fan really arent you....
-
It does at first but its fun when you learn how not good when you get it wrong and the back end surges out on ya so did all four lock up or just the rears?? I tried braking while still in top gear today, it didnt stop any quicker, worse if anything ill run some more tests tommorrow.
-
Thats another way to put it..
-
I know it will slow quicker, or better yet back to second and compression lock the bitch...Truth is car stops much more smoothly if you just put the clutch in, or knock it to neautral...now im talking driving everyday here...not race track driving which of course involves more downshiftin gears..Now i do downchange all the time, but this guy is not downchanging at all hes just braking with it in gear, even his driving instructor told him off about it...See my point yet.. and now this Daewoo guy is trying to tell me im wrong Daewoo, what is it (and im generalizing here) with bikers thinking they now everything about how to drive a car, now im sure you do drive a car, but just cause you ride a bike doesnt make you the gospel of driving.. If you drove my gutless lpg bravo ute i reckon you may occasionly be fanning the clutch for a little extra poke out of corners too ..Ive done 300,000kms in 3 years, i have replaced 1 clutch 2 sets of front brake pads and 1 set of tyres, (actually i just put new ones on so 2 sets) so i must be doing something right. The clutch was actually still good but i did a spiggot bush due to downshifting to much and not rev matching enough. so i replaced it while the box was out.And have changed my driving style accordingly..On top of that i daily beat muppets with hot/new cars through corners and roundabouts cause they have no idea how to drive, only to have them plant the foot on the exit and rocket past like some sort of hero. Now i'm not trying to say im any better driver than you are, but dont try tell me i'm any worse Other than that i did find your piece interesting and informative...

No your mates are just like 99% of the people on here......Though most are ashamed to admit it

IF THE FORD IS SO GOOD WHY ARENT THEY BEING EXPORTED TO JAPAN AND EVERY OTHER COUNTRY THAT HAS SKYLINES and why is ford dumping this engine in favour of the new jag engines, because its just another dinosaur is why, its not and never will be the new GODZILLA.. So you can either buy a piece of motorsport history, or you can buy a ford with a turbo...Seems like a no brainer to me

NARF!!!! apparently a cefiro would be cooler

Mr bozodos i promise not to just make one post and leave, i will do my best to annoy the f**k outta y'all...
-
looks pretty wild, especially with pink plates...lol
-
I dunno mate, but everytime my right foot moves so does my left, ok sometime i might brake a little and not need to clutch but that would only be to wash a little speed off for a corner, not to stop..Even then though i would probably clutch a little to bring the revs back up for exiting so you are trying to slow a car that still has power going to the wheels, doesnt it make sense that it would brake quiker if it wasnt trying to drive...
