anyway just defending my Bosch quickstop brake pads...they are really good, quiet, dustless and quik to stop DBA discs have been known to fail on racecars, but thats because they are cheap....you get what you pay for... unless you are English, then apparently you get everything amazing at bargain basement prices...lol

but he has DBA already...and what you call "decent aftermarket gear" often isn't any better than the DBA or Bosch gear it is just directed at more niche markets... you get what you pay for, doesn't matter which company you get it from, price usually defines quality..so you wont necessarily get a better product but you may get one more suited to your needs...

why go garage 9 when i can put him through direct to DBA

if ecu is stock they are not nismos. unless its got a nistune board in it or something and a46-z00 is pretty generic, its on all injectors of similar build regardless of size...its probably a batch number from the plastics casting company or something.....is it NA or turbo motor? more details on that would be more useful than any batch number

actually they are defintely not sr20 injectors....they are brownish red.... looks like you have NA 25 or sr20 injectors...

i could RB plugs in an hour easy.. i retorqued my toyota headbolts in under 2 hours..start to finish. .i know there is a subaru thats mean to be a complete pita to get plugs out of and I have a feeling its yours...Ask Luke...

well they were all a greyish purple...probably depends which batch you got as to how much purple was in the mix

sidefeeds yeah?? they are not standard, standard are a greyish colour.....what are they out of? red injectors i know of include, S15 480cc, Nismo 740cc and pulsar 260cc... they all look similar except nismos are more red where the others are maroon maybe post some pics up

and a lot of cursing...and keep bandaids and sedatives handy

well it does to you but what you don't realise yet is nobody else GAF.....once you hit 30 everybody listens to you no matter how stupid you are.this I know from experience...however i'm guessing the rest but I think when you reach 40 and you just wish everybody f**k off because the kids have driven you beyond driven...then at 50 you wish they would come back...by 60 you realize its not going to happen and you retreat into your lonely old crazy self but everyone respects your wisdom because of your age.
