  1. Here's one I tried some AMMO on Matt...personal project I've been working on, I spent the best part of three days with the polisher on most of the major panels...but bumpers ,mirrors are too faded and will require repainting though when I get some time so i wont to bother show pics of them...Unfortunately with the lighting conditions of my carport and the 23 yr old paint, its near impossible to get every scratch out...but its close ... Has a few layers of skin and 1 of creme atm, but i think my favourite so far has to be the hydrate.....its very enjoyable to use for everyday detailing duties
  2. cheers guys...Scott i thought you would of seen it on FB mate.. Paint was Debeer base and Body Shop generic acrylic clear...rubbed it with 1200 then some finer sanding pads (2-2500 maybe) and buffed with fg500..pretty simple really..though time consuming...clear could do with some more finishing work but there is only so much effort I am willing to put into a toyota Echo i was amazed how well the colours blended together actually..I cant even really see the blend lines now
  3. gave this little echo a quick going over with the buffinator 900 last week.... but the real win was my first attempt at painting with a gun...pretty happy with it...
  4. +1 standard lines are fine and a ryco filter is all i have too...its fine but does need changing more regularly as cheap insurance..mine did get horribly blocked after a few thousand kms...i think where you buy your e85 makes a big difference tool..try find new servos with new tanks if possible
  5. f**k just got called for work so may not make rexmas ..i was looking forward to hitchin rides
  6. well , i guess you win the who f**ked the sump plug the most game I knew this one was f**ked...has been for years but i always remembered as long as I used the right ring spanner it was ok...stupid me put a socket on it...that was the straw that broke the camels sump plug
  7. the biggest one
  8. stripped the sump plug on the Honda...cant change oil cant find vice grips to undo plug...f*k it all... wheres Aaron i got him a pressie.....
  9. even the fibreglass is rusty
  10. i dunno, its hard to see past that turbo
  11. boring......thread is now about burnt out skylines.....
  12. spend 5k insurance monies with Scotty...win at life...
  13. oh is this that guy....didn't notice....
  14. yeah have seen them cracked...its ok until you pull it off and it shifts... Thats exactly what Scotty did to my kinugawa housing....sits on stock manifold and works well, no need for a 6 boost really as the stock manifold will handle what that turbo can put out.....just tell him you want what artz has but i dont think the housing he has will fit gt30 as its a t67 housing...maybe it can be milled out not sure...
  15. should fit...good housings too... let me guess your pro s housing got a crack..
  16. If you prepare them right and spray with heatproof paint in a rattle can properly you dont need to pay for fancy coatings...mine have held up fine for ages no flaking.. Those purple ones do look good though...wrinkle coat in a can can be tricky to get right
  17. See the only mods i have is some bilsteins shocks, braided brake lines, good fluid, a hicas lock bar and some wornout old r-spec dunlops...yep that's it.stock bushes ,stock arms, stock diff and stock brakes .Its not ideal but I Reckon I could of easy got a 1:10 with a little more practice, i got 1:15 or something on like my second lap out before going off the main straight and being chicken shit cause I needed the car to drive me home.. oh yeah I have 300kws too... Nothing beats a whole Lot of power. Though I do agree with you its not needed for good times ,especially at wakie...but power is just so easily attainable on a 33...I dont think alot of suspension mods are needed either ,if you are on a budget weight reduction and good semi slick tyres is a great place to start But to each his own and more than one way to skin a cat and all that.
  18. I think just about anything can crack a 1'10 @ wakie with a bit of practice and a good set of tyres.. the only time an r33 needs a heap of suspension mods is when they have big power to put down and traction is an issue...A low power say 200-220kw r33 doesn't need much more than some decent coilovers and good brakes/tyres to run fast...
  19. but thats how you learn stuff
  20. end of the 90s was when we really started to see higher octane petrol on the market too so no doubt the engines changed accordingly..
  21. Im not going to knock the product Dan, but how many kms have you actually done in those 2.5 yrs....how much time has it spent out in the elements? Any coating will last years if the car is locked in a garage most of the time....
  22. Yes , I would also like to know this...
