  1. How the hell did it pass rego with that bodgey turbo setup?
  2. It loosens up really nice after a thousand kms or so, you will really feel the difference...its a bit bitey at first.. But yeah I took mine straight to the track too, no issues .
  3. yep kind of looks that way...guy buy stuff off ebay, realises it needs some major tuning and gives up on it... please dont say its running a stock ecu....
  4. must have a seriously big spring in it if it wasnt opening before...
  5. i'm sorry but this just belongs here
  6. ok so you bought the car like this, weird....I take it you got it real cheap.... anyway you have enough brains to get this far..well done, now think for a minute, how does one normally silence an exhaust noise?
  7. well thats not what you told us is it?
  8. lol....typical noob comment... lets put it this way...muppet removes exhaust pipe at engine...then complains engine is too loud...and we are meant to take him seriously....?
  9. Vent your wastegate to inside your cabin, that way your interior can muffle the noise ...
  10. Well that was short and not very sweet
  11. Buddha? Another e85 united just opened less than a km from home...yes...

maybe there is just heaps of shit cars in Knox....
  13. nah...this would cause it to run like a sack of balls....
  14. "modular" thats the word i was looking for yeah to be fair it could very well be the cabinet it was in, not much ventilation and my receiver was right next to it...I have since cut the back of my cabinet out to flow more air and swapped my amp and PC around so the psu is not right next to it...receivers do tend to get rather hot..but I was never pushing the limits of the PC, its only a HTPC no gaming...so still think it was bit weak but who knows...might of been a power surge or something...
  15. did you have any sort of mesh or baffling in your catchcan?...a pipe in. pipe out catch can with no internal baffling will do nothing and oil will just end up in your intake again....get a stocking and fill it with coarse steel wool , put it in your catchcan and make the inlet hose go to the bottom of the can while the breather hose exits the top...so that way the vapous re filtering through the mesh on the way up and this will cath most of the vapours..and your can should fill with oil instead of your intake
  16. f**k oath buy the Moon...good 3700kmph, much faster than a Dragon anyday
  17. nice,.....is that a 4gig ddr5 Graphics card?.. i bought one of those corsair PSUs a while back, expensive bugger and I figured it was bulletproof with its 5 yr warranty...farken thing died within a year, Not happy, took it back to store for refund/replacement.. oh yeah we dont have them in stock and anyway we have to send it back for warranty blah blah...aint nobody got time for that, i need a psu and i need it now...so settled for some cheaper no-name unit as replacement and cause it had detachable cables to free up room in my box... its been going for couple of years now without drama...go figure that shit out hey...
  18. might help if you tell people what size they are..
  19. He must be the only mechanic in Melbourne than can blame not finishing a customers car on the weather...
  20. i see Scotty lurking...must be raining again
  21. lol beat me to it
  22. why so rich...I'm pretty sure some of discos ramblings somewhat taught me what stoich was many moons ago.....yet I dont see a stoich value entered once on his mapping... A quick look at my own target afrs sees pretty much everything over 3000rpm and below 100kpa set to stoich.... or am i reading it wrong?
  23. why? Is it running open/closed loop? just remembered mines running full open so possibility of even better economy when I hook it back up
  24. I didn't disconnect anything or touched anything else in the engine bay for that matter and they are on completely different lines...MAP is connected to fuel reg vacumn, boost is off the back of manifold.....its definitely this gauge thats caused it....when i put my boost gauge back in a few weeks back I accidentally plugged the line onto the bolt instead of the nipple (must of been dark)...effectively plugging it up...just noticed my boost gauge wasn't working yesterday and put 2 and 2 together...but why is it affecting it now I have MAp and not when I had Afm? I wonder if because the stock boost gauge is hooked up and still reading, its digital not mechanical yeah...i will try disconnecting it and see what happens.. and yeah there was a change in AFR..its just like it was hunting for an idle , cause eventually it would settle to idle...but in the meantime it was rich/lean/rich/lean
