yeah ,he just said was PE850s... They are sidefeeds arent they....just saw his earlier post too...I also got 450km off about 50 lts of ethanol hwy driving....So economy value is definately there considering e85 is generally 30c cheaper than pulp...I beleive its all the extra torque available, i just find I rev alot less to get the car moving.....its like driving a diesel down low...with a whole lotta fun up top....unfortunately my wideband stopped working but was running 14.7_15 on cruise... And with the widespread availability of E85 in vic I dont even care about fitting flex..just another problem

just thinking, maybe because running MAP...gauge is acting like small leak and its losing manifold pressre..had no issues when it was AFM

Ok just a bit curious here...had an idle hunting problem for ages now, ever since I got car tuned actually....Trent offered to fix it for me thinking it was a tune issues but I never got around to it... Now by accident I blocked of my aftermarket (garrett) boost gauge line...and magic...Idle problem has dissapeared... there is a t-piece of the manifold so original dash gauge was working as well...the hunting would normally appear on decel..and was bad to the point is was trying to surge me into corners...then on pulling the car up it would bounce from 2000-500rpm then usually eventually settle..after anything from 10sec to 2 minutes.... Now it is settling to about 1200rpm on pullup then settles to just under 1000rpm somewhere....does this seem more like normal behaviour? I cant find any leaks or anything in the line and I am quite happy to ditch the shitty gauge anyway.. but does anyone know why it would cause this?

Jb Or Npc Clutch For 32 Gtr
ARTZ replied to portaz's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
thats about what i paid for my rebuilt one...only a few thousand kms on it now but I'm noticing its getting a lot easier to ride a little now that its bed in, I can drive it in traffic now without the occasional bunny hop or tyre squeal...really is a nice clutch for its price.. do you have their flywheel as well?... -
anyone know what injectors was he running? just pulled mine out of hibernation for a coupla days...so just for interest sake 30lts E85 got me 200km...half highway ,half suburban traffic with a few fun squirts on gate.... for a 300kw car that hasn't had a lot of road tuning, I'm pretty happy with that and Its better than I remembered it to be.. A strange hunting idle issue I had before seems to have gone away so maybe has improved my fuel economy.. still had no worries labouring up a hill in 5th at 60kms either...gotta love that Ethanol torque...

Water/water Meth Vs High Ethanol Content Juice .
ARTZ replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I've been wondering alot lately if higher rail pressures would improve atomization of ethanol..and possibly lead to better economy, and better cold starts... I've wanted to try it on mine if it didn't complete retuning... -

-
exedy HD will do fine.... aslo did you ask NPC about their replacement clutches...they do have lots of other options that are cheaper than a 10inch organic and usually cheaper than Exedy too and also fairly sure all gtst are push...only the 34 has pull
-
this might be a dumb question, bit you haven't blocked the BOV have you?
-
By the way he is driving it I don't think legal means much to him...lol For added excitement he could vent the catchcan to the front of the back wheels for surprise skids... but yes, I did only suggest it as a bandaid fix...
-
a ¡±vented¡± catchcan would help torelease pressure would it not.... Admittedly its not fixing the problem, but it will aid to fix the sympton... And if problem is dead rings like you suggest, thats a big problem to anyone tht isnt an engine builder.. When a 30$ ebay catchcan is an easy fix for anybody with a screwdriver..
-
yup..would have to be...you could just stick little filters a top your cam cover vents , but this will most likely spray oil everywhere... anyway, to keep it simple.. if can is vented, block pcv...if can plumbed back to intake, retain pcv... i could tell you not to drive it so hard but you would probably laugh at me
-
if valve stems gone would be blowing smoke..... whatever it is a catch can set up would help relieve it for now...its a good enough and cheap temporary fix anyway... how hard are you driving it?
