  1. if you stomped on it fast and hard would it RnR...I found with mine it was ok if I accelerated smoothly it would pull hard...but if I stomped on the pedal ,it would RnR almost everytime where a stock turbo wouldn't...
  2. but a rebuilt turbo also solves the problem does it not?...I mean a stock one is good for 190kws @ 10-11psi which is no slouch and it will be more responsive than a highflow and pretty much eliminates any worry of RnR so in essence is possibly going to be faster and more reliable......if you can stop the wheels from flying apart by rebuilding it with steel wheels all your problems are solved...Its no going backwards at all...you have 190kws you an flog all day everyday... Actually I think we need to redetermine what is exactly a highflow... If you have a turbo with the same size wheel specs, but with redesigned blades for better flow, would this be considered a highflow...or just updated wheels.. Any turbo with bigger wheels is essentially going to be laggier is it not?...or if we have a turbo with redesigned blades that flow more with out losing any response is it going to push as hard at 5psi as standard at 10psi..... I'm confusing myself now
  3. lets see...stock ecu with ,stock turbo on high boost vs hiflow turbo on low boost.....which one is going to be faster?
  4. lol..350hp...WOW!!!...
  5. ...ok guys PLEASE read carefully... "A REBUILT TURBO IS NOT A HIFLOWED TURBO...IT IS MERELY REBUILT TO STANDARD SPECS BUT THE WHEELS ARE MADE OF STEEL INSTEAD OF CERAMIC....THIS WILL NOT EFFECT YOUR TUNE AT ALL..IT WILL FLOW THE SAME AS A STANDARD TURBO ..IT WILL HOWEVER HANDLE MORE BOOST FOR LONGER SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO DO THAT BUT IT WILL REQUIRE SOME TUNING".. It will cost roughly the same as a hiflow though... "NO YOU SHOULD NOT RUN A "HIFLOWED" TURBO WITH STOCK ECU AT EVEN STANDARD BOOST AS IT WILL FLOW MORE AIR THAN A STANDARD TURBO..." WRONG!!!
  6. lol....hes right though..get it rebuilt with steel wheels simple...about 800$ which is only a little above your budget..and will cop 14psi all day should you choose to boost it a little...its not a hilfow just a rebuild stocker...
  7. oh no ...looks like your camera survived at least been there done that ...
  8. I hate that headspace, I've never dabbled with anti depressants but when I get depressed consistently it usually just results in total lifestyle changes for me kind of annoying not being stable and all but it does keep life interesting ..
  9. obviously its not working now....so ditch it as much as possible and experiment with something else....you dont want to just add other dependencies to it...
  10. funny you should say taurine cause red bulls always pick me up form mild depression....like any drug its a fine line and knowing the difference between..enough and too much though...but it can often just be enough to push my mood back in the right direction again... And phenyethlymaine...where is that found cause I know i have use it before too trick is with anything is to use it to push you back in the right mood direction and then use some self control to help stay there....not just rely on the drug to solve your issues... Watch the movie "Limitless" if you dont know what i mean....brilliant flick
  11. nice results.....and cool new logo...
  12. nah you're not making a mistake mate....good clutches... I was going to get a JB but scored an NPC for half price and its an great clutch...and I know there is more than a few racers here using them ...I don't know why SIR_RB is knocking them, unless he was knocking the sales service and not the clutch themselves......
  13. probably fell of the back of the truck at that price...
  14. Oh for sure.... and if you have 4200lb of pressure plate whats gunna give first ? At the end of the day its cheaper and easier to replace a clutch than rebuild an engine with shot bearings but yes, driving style is the ultimate decider no matter what clutch you have....
  15. did Jim tell you it must be your driving style...
  16. sounds like the Frangga RSL...its so busy they built another room for all the people that dont book....but the food aint as good pussy...she must be nice to get you up that early every morning.. nice try......but you still aint frankston
  17. out of curiosity what single did they try to sell you ... I know the carbotic is rated up to 400..not sure what they have after that
  18. He can talk the leg of a chair that's for sure...NPC you probably just got a salesman, where as Jim always answers the phone personally it seems...Ask to speak to the owner at NPC im sure you will get a wealth of knowledge as I believe he did his apprenticeship at exedy.. As for rating a clutch I think it is fair to give a basic guideline if how much it can handle..So no it doesn't mean it will fail at 402kws..and saying such a thing is a little ridiculous on Jims behalf...It is merely an estimate or a guideline as to how much it can reasonably handle....NPCs 300kw clutches have been known to hold 350kw...but they give 300kws as a reasonable estimate of what it can handle and build a clutch that exceeds its own specifications..I think thats fair.. Didn't know the twin plate was 2500$ though..So JB is probably your best bet on that budget anyway..hope it works well for you ...
  19. its also a paint supplies shop...seaford one has plastidip stuff...not sure if dandenong has it...pretty sure autobahn has it now anyway
  20. That man has boobs..... yep....autobahn....or The body shop actually stock a similar product now too...meant to be better ...well thats their sales pitch anyway
  21. yeah pretty sure he trialed mine with the airbox lid off too and it made no real noticable difference..
  22. lol...sick...
  23. So if it stops running you will take 1000$
