  1. I am tempted to throw some HPR diesel 5 in mine just cause I have half a bottle there and im poor atm...its ci-4/SL rated....not sure if good idea or not
  2. just go to Adaptronic site mate you can buy a plugin loom for just over 200$....cheaper than a sparky
  3. alot of crazy ideas for draining the tank here so heres mine,, run hose from fuel filter to drum If you have your pump wired for full voltage like most do, direct to battery... I just stick a screwdriver and short the 2 pins on the fuel pump relay....hold it there till tank is empty....don't even need ignition on or a key in it for that matter....actually thinking I should just install a switch there even...to make fuel swaps easy
  4. Is this available on PC yet...i has no Xbox..
  5. I often wipe it down with windex...lol.. Its a small percentage of isopropyl in it...not sure if it's a good idea and I try not to wipe at all really....
  6. Hey man I have one..its got a small dent in it but it's straight and works fine...can have it cheap.too... 0415 121 985...
  7. Be doing well if you can get 25k for it...
  8. yes mate of course use a harder pad....dont use more pressure...just buff it longer...i used to kill my pads with pressure and it does nothing really except destroy pads prematurely...better just to work the product longer ...occasionally if you get a stubborn spot you might need a little more pressure and crank the speed up but not for the whole car...if you dont put too much polish on the pad you should be able to work it till it almost dissapears...then use a towel to wipe off the dust...if your pad is clogging and you are getting alot of residual dust flying everywhere,or product left on the panel you are using too much product ,simple...use a stiff brush as suggested to clean the pad but try use less polish, dont just keep adding it when the pad is already drenched in it...for the first few sections you can use a bit more but after that the pad has plenty polish in it so you only need a small dot or 2 for each section...if there is polish still on the panel just keep buffing until it dissapears completely then buff a little more, .......as for washing, when the jobs done just throw them in the washing machine on a cold/warm wash (i checked with waxit before I did this he said its fine)...works a treat...you can even tumble dry them (I've accidently put a few through with no problems), but it is definately better to air dry
  9. I'm not disagreeing with you junkie, this is just from my experience.....But I'd just go straight up with the fg500 personally...i'd try first with a medium pad and if it seems Like hard work bump up to the hard pad...i rarely even use my 2500 unless working in a car with soft paint.....Nissan paint is tough...the 2500 will make a difference but the 500 will do it in half the time. It also works well with yellowing headlights.. It is a white R33 you're polishing yeah?
  10. Nova....classic 5 spoke..never goes out of style
  11. Yeah I do t even know if I will make it...lol

  13. u serious 130 a tank? i has this problem too...hear pump growling every time I swing or stop at anything near empty..
  14. Well that's an average price...saying how many kms is silly too because sometimes I get 600 sometimes I get 800...but on average!!! Stop.trying to be smart and join the thread man...how many kms u get?
  15. Injectors online is same as expert Injector clean isn't it.....same address. also here's a Tip for fresh players...only ask for an injector test...as its only about 8$ each and quite often they don't need cleaning...I mean I had 6 tested and only one needed to be cleaned...all up cost me about 60$..If you ask them to clean them all they will whether they need it or not.and charge accordingly...I mean why pay to clean injectors that aren't dirty...
  16. 09 Bt-50 tray MV..less than what I owe the bank on the f**king thing Fuel..55lt per fill about 70-80$ 650-700km on average..
  17. that stuff is good for badge removal too
  18. mines in progress....
  19. lets simplify this for the budget conscious .. WASH with dishwashing liquid, rinse off, then while it is still wet CLAY with any decent claybar, mequirs Bowdens whatever they're all fine a quick wash down after clay is good idea too then dry with a microfibre towel.. POLISH with DA and FG500 with a firm pad this will already get your paint looking amazing and if it doesn't you are doing it wrong..... if your fussy and especially if the car is a darker colour I'd suggest finish with maybe SF4000 and a lighter pad to give a richer smoother more reflective finish.. apply sealant and/or wax of choice Job done The kits are great because they give you a range of different polishes and pads to play with but don't really need them all..but having them gives you options as different cars require different levels of cut of course, the fg500 will do 99% of jobs though and any car more than a few years old will usually need this level of cut unless it has been meticulously looked after....I bought another 900 DA and tried the scholl concepts kit from waxit as well and it does a great job at scratch/swirl removal., dare i say even better than the menzerna..I find the menzerna to leave a better more richer gloss though I have been bouncing between both and my latest project...also the 5 inch pads it came with are a bit tedious as it takes forever to do big panels...good for tight spots though... keep an eye on how warm your pads are getting, many start to heat up when they are being worked hard and the glue that holds the velcro on will start to melt..after each area you do give the pad a chance to cool down or your pads will warp and can even fly apart...I have destroyed many and its pretty funny when you lift your buff and they just launch themselves into oblivion ...I actually double up on my favourite pads now and switch between them as I go Light is your friend, get a cheap halogen light (20$ form bunnings) to shine off panels so you can see scratches...but beware it takes alot of time to get them all..ever wondered why pro detailers charge so much...time....it actually takes very little products to do a good job but it takes alot of time and patience..if you want to do it properly in your spare time prepare to have the car sit in the shed for a while..alternatively work the car one panel at a time..getting any panel perfect can easily consume a few hours of your time...I've spent the last 2 days on my toyota and I still keep finding faint marks I have missed, (working in a carport with one light doesnt help either)...as it sits I have still only done a 1 stage buff that still isn't perfect to my liking....and I haven't even touched on the bumpers... unfortunately it has to be done by monday so i will have to rush finish it and come back to it another day Another problem is the closer you get and the more time you spend with the car you notice every little blemish. spot, scratch...sometimes it pays to just wash it down, stick it in the sun and stand back and look at it...it might look perfectly good from 10mtrs away and other people never really notice all the little marks you know are there...all comes down to your own vanity and quest for perfection really...
  20. Right hand lane is also a transit lane in morning peak hour...meaning if you are not a truck, taxi, commercial vehicle or dont have 2 or more people in your car you are not actually allowed in it... Not that anybody ever pays attention to this....
  21. The concourse kit is worth every cent but if you want to be a real tight ass, Go to bunnings...get a ozito orbital polisher for 99$ with 3 yr warranty...get an orange foam pad for it 20$ and a 1lt bottle of menzera fg500 for 55$total cost 174$... With some practice you can achieve brilliant results with this simple equipment...problem is it takes practice and a decent decent set of forearms. Also it can melt paint on bumpers and plastics in the blink of an eye, whereas the concourse 900 is pretty safe to use anywhere, which is why it is great for beginners. Not for the faint hearted or the limp wristed but it works..Honestly though get the 900 great little machine.
  22. U sure they were after your skyline and not just random opportunistic crims going around seeing who's doors unlocked...we get em all the time here. One of them stole my space saver which was left in my carport....i found it a few weeks later on the neighbors hard rubbish stack.. Who the f**k steals a man's space saver. Inb4 Frankston jokes...
