  1. put some on my Crezza..might put an rb in it too
  2. you will eat it....
  3. exactly what would you know...last turbo you installed ended up in the boot....
  4. still faster than the group i'll be in....
  5. remove floor pan too as this stops you from pushing the accelerator down further FYP...What about me and all the other internet geniuses that said the same thing!!!....nobody ever thanks us
  6. bit off topic but I read an interesting way to make a home flow bench using an afm and a vacumn the other day... I'm sure you can figure the rest out but I thought it was rather clever...
  7. f*kn lolwat???? i reckon it'll be alright ...maybe not ideal but good enough... mines a little doughy around town but its all worth it when sink the boot into it
  8. im not sure it will exacerbate (< i had to google this word ) the issue...would allow more free flowing exhaust...which might be all it needs...with the gases flowing so fast its going to spool up damn fast anyway it just needs to be able to vent it...I'd be looking at a highflowing billet comp wheel of some description though and EG a big one
  9. you're not a crap driver, they're just really good ones..... yeah i know exactly what you mean,Im trying to decide if i should pull the head off my toyota for the same reason.....if I leave it on my car will remain slow but my wallet will remain thick...if it comes off my car will get faster but my wallet will get thinner...its a balancing act..
  10. i think what Scotty is trying to say Mik is that the stock rb has the flow capabilities to out match nearly any semi-serious track driver.. I mean look at Richo hes quicker than nearly anyone "on the track"and hes only running a stock RB with a small turbo... Even Russ is using a stock RB with a 3076 and these are 2 of the quickest RB25 guys in Australia...how fast do you really think it can go I like what you have done and Tony's engine has the capabilities of some very high speed now, but Scotty is right, it will go to waste on your average racetrack. Fast and Furious style freeway runs however it will decimate all...especially with 2 of the big one .Just big turbo it and head for the drags on e85.
  11. I fit 5 jerry cans in mine.
  12. No it won't be laggy on this Stao because the headflow will allow it too spool much quicker...yes it will come on late in the rev range...but the head flow will allow it to get to that rev range much quicker .. Just think of it as a normal rb head being a restriction and now that restriction is gone .. its not just about moving more volume its about moving it faster and for longer
  13. Basically what it means is "you need more flow bro".. From your turbo that is, your head has enough already. I may be wrong here but It doesn't necassarily mean you need a huge turbo, it may just need something that flows faster...like. GTX will flow faster than a GT ..still might not be enough for you though ..But you can look at larger turbos anyway because your head flow will allow it to spin up much quicker which in effect will make it feel and respond like a smaller turbo..if that makes sense...
  14. Black box....dont bother dude, if you can tune on e85 do it...if not just save your money for blow and hookers...it will be more fun
  15. 1. Go to repco/bursons/autobahn 2. Ask person at counter for oil and filter to suit your car 3. Buy oil and filter. Come on, its not rocket science its just a car..in fact it's so easy even the dumbasses at supercheap could probably help you. And no you are not going to save for a mortgage on your house by buying your oil and filters on ebay, infact you'd be lucky to save enough for a cheese and fries at fat burger and buying that would only make you fat which would make your rocket car slower..So don't go there..
  16. It may not even be the rear housing it may be the turbo altogether is a bad match now...I mean you design your turbos to match a rb25s power zone...that is 3500-6500....he has now designed a head that is probably more suited to flow from 4000-8000 so a bigger turbo all together may be what's in order.. Will the ss2 even spin to 8k or will it drop off power too early?
  17. Lol..just read hybrid return flow...that won't be helping..
  18. just push em and see...should go close...
  19. ItS a bellmouth...Damn that's a Bit of a bummer Tony . All I can think is maybe with all the head porting and such is you have increased flow so much that it bottlenecking at your IG and exhaust..did you do cams as well? You have to remember the ss2 has been designed solely around a standard rb25..the only reason stao runs forgies is so his pistons don't fry when he drops 30pis of boost into them for testing...porting the head changes all.its flow charecteristics I'd be tempted to stock a fat external gate and screamer on it , should yield a good result, bit of messing about tho...but just get a different turbine housing and weld a gate to it could work wonders..
  20. couldn't put it in the detailing results thread with everybody else..?
  21. i have a 400r rear bar if thats any help to you...
  22. yes but NOW they have a released an injector that is alcohol friendly.. you notice how it is exactly 30% bigger than there old ones
