  1. hey guys, sorry to revive an old topic but does anyone have a workshop manual for the vq30dd? im struggling to find a copy online at all. pref for the 300gt v35 but anythings better then nothing, and dont mind paying.
  2. 93 manual coupe Mods: 3"catback and dump (cat still compliance 2.5") rb25 hiflow turbo on 13psi using profec b spec 2 chipped ecu for raised fuel mapping and rev limitter (had a large a/f ration drop when coming on boost) fmic kit (cooling pro cooler and cheap 2.5" piping i think) apexi style air filter turbosmart raceport style bov (for quicker release) tomei style FPR with raised air fuel slightly walbro 255l/h pump other then that is dead stock motor with just over 200k on the motor. made 184kw on 13psi on 91 octane with poor air fuel ration, hoping to get my safc fitted and tuned shortly.
  3. ok guys so the issue im having is that due to the profec being a bit "different" to play with lol, ive been having a few issues ever since i got it but never bothered me as it only happens up high, until now... so the issue i have is im curious what gain and gate settings people are running on their rb's preferably rb20 and preferably stock turbos or highflowed ones. im running a highflow rb25 turbo with my gain at 12% with gate set to open at 12psi and the controller to aim for 13-14psi as this was what i had read via an evo forum relating to the gate setting (1-2psi before your chosen boost). anyone have a clue? or rough setting they run? and my other question is any idea on where i can get an apexi safc loom extension as the one i bought doesnt have an extension loom on it.

  7. Jonnohr31, how much pressure should I run thru my rb20 r32 with a high flow 25 turbo, running around 12psi? Any recommendation?
  8. Ive got a stock 20 one. Will fit and bolt straight up. Will spool quicker to I think. Make an offer

Lol had this same problem on a truck at work, either over fueling and heats them up to much, has a leaking head gasket and creates steam this melting them or idk if your glow plugs run constantly like the isuzus, but might be staying on and building so much heat it melts? Never heard of the last but spouse it could be a cause. Does your ute soot heaps?

  13. Hey rb25 won't work as they are side feed. Rb20 are top. I have a full set of cleaned flow tested and recapped gtr r34 injectors and drop resistor

  17. hey mate just thinking of doing an rb24 build of my own for an r32, how did u go internal wise? how much does the block need to be bored out? lol ive got a few questions but yer. with the plenum out of curiousity, how much did it cost? and what ecu are you running?
  18. hey mate do you have a list of the basics needed to build this motor? im sorta investigating in building one for my 32 gtst and seems very hazy on details? sorry to bump the old ad, but holy s*** it seems like it would have been a weapon when you were up it hahaha
  19. hey mate wat pistons are on the rods? if they are from an rb24 would they be 4agze? also with the block is it bored out? and what ecu did it run?

  21. so guys basically ive got an rb20det with hiflow r33 turbo, full 3" exhaust with stock cat. no boost controller atm as im looking for the right sort. it has a jun tuned ecu which i was told through jun is removed speed limiter, raised rev limiter and modified fuel ratio. it has aftermarket coil packs and pod filter also. ive got a front mount going on next monday and im trying to work out basically what is needed for the tired 20 to push 300kw. i know it will probably need a bigger turbo set up. im currently in the market for gtr injectors before i raise the boost. so what shall i do? anyone have any 300kw rb20s? how do you do it without to much muching around. im also aiming to try get things compatible with rb25 for when that day comes.
  22. so can these be brought over and put on our roads legally? like seriously i think these are hot as F*** because of the shape plus there isnt anything over here to compete with them thats not imported. (stagea, toyota wats it called) only thing i can think of over here is a wrx is id take the evo anyday lol. if anyone needs more proof of their brilliance search youtube for evo 9 wagon vs rs5 audi lol

  25. Still got the turbo and manifold? Also any oil lines for it? How's the turbos condition?
