http://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/rsc/demerit/demerit5.htm have a read i'm unsure how old it is but they way the cops and racv have proposed the way points and fines should be handed out. It's quite interesting Table 9 Current Speeding Penalties In Victoria Speed in Excess of Fine Demerit Points Plus Automatic That Permitted Licence Suspension 1 km/h - 15 km/h $105 1 - 16 km/h - 29 km/h $165 3 - 30 km/h - 39 km/h $220 4 1 month 40 km/h - 44 km/h $300 4 4 months 45 km/h - 49 km/h $300 6 4 months 50 km/h or more $360 6 6 months The Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) proposed the following new sliding scale of demerit points: [16] Table 10 RACV Proposal For Demerit Points For Speeding Offences Exceeding Speed Limit Demerit Points By less than 10 km/h nil 10-19 km/h 1 20-29 km/h 2 30-39 km/h 3 40-44 km/h 4 45 km/h or more 6 Table 11 Victoria Police Proposal for Demerit Points for Speeding Offences Exceeding Speed Limit Demerit Points By less than 16 km/h nil 16-29 km/h 2 30-44 km/h 4 45 km/h or more 6 Subsequently the Police decided to support the status quo. Yeah i know it's a pain in the but also to top it off i don't normally go to work that way, i normally head down wells/boundary road but lately it's full of soccer mums and their massive 4wd's. I think i can safely say i'm not going that way to work again.

black whale yeah 4 seater bus
-
google maps is outdated it's now that red shit with BUS in big letters
-
oh whoops i forgot to add the obligatory f@#k the cops statement.
-
with the amount of people they were pulling over i doubt they gave anyone a infringement notice, he was just writing it all down on a notepad.

http://bit.ly/bGP7z3 that's the intersection i was done at see the "bus lane" it goes about half way down towards the waterway boulevard it's a dedicated bus lane i used that bus lane to avoid waiting in the traffic to i could turn down Governor road i wasn't pushing my way into traffic in anyway i was getting out of slow traffic and using the bus lane to get to the turn off.
-
hmm pretty much screwed on that one i don't think it's < 100m
-
Funky monkey in regards to the picture the bus lane is on the left and i was turning left so i was using the bus lane as another lane. Also while trying to find out how much it's going to sting me via a google search i found http://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/rsc/demerit/demerit5.htm seems very interesting

What an exciting drive to work this morning. For those that have driven up springvale road (braeside area) you know about the Bus Lane well this morning i decided to venture down that lane to get ahead of traffic so i could turn down Governor road as i reached the corner i see a cop with a radio calling out the cars that were driving down this bus lane. Meanwhile i'm in the car swearing at myself first time i've ever decided to cut down this bus lane and i get nabbed. So as i turn the corner there's cops there waving in the cars the cop was calling out, he waves me in asks me the standard question "Any reason why you were driving in the bus lane longer than you should have been?" my reply to that was "no reason". So he walks back to the car doing his paper work. Meanwhile they're doing a breatho test on the cars in front of me same cop comes up to my car asks me "any reason why you're driving a manual while your license states you shouldn't be" my answer "no reason", then he proceeds to do the walk around the car here's me crossing my fingers hoping he doesn't ask me to lift the bonnet (pod filter). He comes back to my window "where's you back P Plate it's not in your back window" "oh it's on my license plate since it really couldn't be seen from the back window as easy so i put it on my plates". So then tells me you will be getting a fine in the next few weeks for driving down the bus lane and failed to comply to your license restrictions . So i ask the fellow SAUers whats the price tag on these fines?

Right you sir are an idiot if there was water in your fuel you wouldn't make it down the 2km down the road . As stated above the only time water does enter the tank is when there's a leak or some dumbshit forgets to close the tanks off correctly. I have worked in a petrol station (united) we had to test fuel twice a day and if water appears in the tank that tank will be shut off and head office had to be told about it as i've never experienced water in the tank i'm unsure about the rest of the process but i'm sure the last thing they would want to do is sell it knowing there's water in the tank. Water in tank = Damaged cars by the masses = Shit loads of $$$ in repairs Water in the tanks are easy to spot since the water is heavier than petrol here's a pic of what water and fuel mixed together looks like

Removed the wing a gave my 33 a polish was quite chuffed with it really. A bit un-decided about the 'No-Wing" gave the headlights a polish as well to get rid of the brown/orange tinge and the results were amazing

i've had a few people rage at me at lights, tooting their horns and giving me the finger because i rolled up to the lights at a slow pace when i know it's going to change when i pull up when i get there so i save my self the hassle of putting it back into 1st gear / neutral. One women pretty much jumped over into her passenger seat just to flip me the bird i just smiled and waved One thing that really grinds my gears is people driving 20k under the speed limit and you can't overtake i have this one old lady in a pintara every now and then i will get stuck behind her going down old wells road in Chelsea heights it's 70km down that road she will be doing 40k at tops.
