  5. yeah if u do appeal i have a feeling u have a decent chance of keeping ur lisense, tho u will have 1 pt, so if u can do it it might be better off to not have ur lisense for a while and have 4 points when u get it back?
  6. my hicas light comes on reliably after about 15 min of driving, when driving to trade school it always comes on at about the same bit of road in my route, i have tried entering diagnosis mode but it doesnt work, am i not doing it right? This is what i do ignition off car in neutral, start car turn wheel left and right vigourously about 5-6 times, pump brake pedal fairly quickly 5-6 times. put clutch in and go into first gear, and then back to neutral and release clutch nothing hapens.. car is a 1989 hcr32 gtst am i missing something? i also tryed driving forwards 5 metres, n it didint work

  8. well actually the guy i bought it off said it was running 10 pound, and a receibt from a service i found in the car also said "Chekced boost, no bleed valve, running 10 psi" but it definitly gets up to 12 on my calibre boost guage(i think theyre a cheapy) when i boost in 1st second and 3rd, but maybe that guage is abit off and it is running 10 thanks for that info, what is a boost tee? am i able to reduce the boost lower than wat it is running already without a bleeder? coz i was under the impression that with a boost controller it can only really be increased? also if i got a pic of my actuator would people be able to ID it? or antying lol what price would i be looking at foir something like a decent twin plate clutch, and with the headlights, yeah im not to bad with the soldering. but are the're late model headlights and early model? or are they al the same?

Hey guys Car is 1989 r32 gtst, vg30 turbo, largish front mount, 3 inch straight through exhuast, pod filter, stock BOV Boost question First, my 32 gtst, is running 12psi boost from vg30 turbo, (according to boost guage) i dont think it has a bleed valve . so im just wondering why the boost is so high. and also if i get a manual boost controller with a bleed valve would i be able to lower the boost or only raise it? if thats the case how do i lower it? id like to get a dual stage controller to run 7-8 for low n 12-14 for high. Clutch question, when i boost in 1st in the dry it will spin the wheels, when i boost in second in the dry it will usually spin the wheels, when i boost in 3rd in the dry,(maybe half to 3/4 throttle) it will all of a sudden rev out, asif the clutch is spinning, n it sure doesnt feel like wheel spin. I found a receibt in the car for the clutch being done a few years ago, the clutch kit itself was $220, so im assuming its standard. is the clutch freeplay adjustable and how? and also what would you guys rrecommend as a clutch upgrade, i would like something heavy that can take a thrashing, but is ok for street use, willing to spend up to 4-500 hundred for the kit, i guess. anyone done the clutch themselves before? do-able with jack stands? or should i save up more n get a place to do it? And Headlight question. My headlight connections are abit dodgey, the wires comming to the back of the globes are spilced off an old connecter? are there late model and early model ehaqdlights? mine is an 89 model, so iw as thinking mayube sum1 put late model headlights in it, ? -Thanks -Alex
  10. consistently when putting the clutch in? could be BOV or other air leak like URAS said, the battery light would come on when the car is almost stalled even if its not the battery, like try letting the clutch out with your foot on the brake n if u almost stall it u might notice the battery light come on, once it recovers from stalling does the battery light turn off?

  12. yeah, i have a stock bov on my 32 and a pod filter and the woosh/hiss noise is very loud, even tho its plumb back, everyone who goes in it thinks its got an aftermarket one coz its so loud lol. how bad is it to block it off for shits n giggle for some flutter? it would be good if it was adjustable so at like say anything under 4 psi boost it woudlnt open and it would flutter but anything more and it would open, that way u could have flutter without the risk of to much damage to your turbo?

  16. spotted a white 32 on anzac highway this afternoon, was in my new black 32 gtst
  17. 79 cents of angle grinder disc, up to a few grand for all the fruit as has been said, if you just want it lower without adjustment and not worried about handling, then simply get lowered springs and swap them sraight in. a gooid i dea would also be to get shorter shocks to keep the lowered springs captive(slightly compressed so they dont become unseated (read: fall out)) a better idea is to spend a little bit 1-1.5k and get some descent coilovers which are height adjustable and dampening adjustable, u can adjust the height and the dampening of the shocks. and as duncan said, u can spend even more to have the car handlings beutifully with correct steering geometry and all generally 1 inch lower will cost the same as 3-4 inches lower, it all depends on the method

Hey everyone, my names Alex and ive just purchased my first nissan (originally i was a toyota man, but i have gone to the 'dark side') its an r32 gtst, Type M Mods are 3 inch trust exhuast, no cat vg30 turbo greddy coilovers (34 way adjustable dampners) strut brace front and rear, front mount cooler pod filter, and a few other minor things. Heres a pic of my new love
  19. just got a new car, r32 gtst put it up on the hoist this morning to have a look over, one of a few things is the clutch slave is leaking are r31 adm ones the same? or will i jhave to try and track down a rb20 one?

Ok first question is im getting an rb20 32, just wondering what kind of power figure you guys think it would have the specs of engine are as follows standard internals vg30 turbo running 10psi boost 3 inch exhaust from turbo back, no cat.. Medium sized front mount intercooler, generic brand i think. pod filter. n its manual. Ok, and my next question is. does a vg30 turbo have an external or internal wastegate. and it does not have a boost controller. does this mean it would have a modified wastegate actuater or something? os is 10psi normal for a vg30 turbo on a 20. and, any other info on vg30 turbos woudl be good, . thanks guys cant wait to get into my first turbo car
