So how much fuel did you spend in total? what is your XX L / 100 km's ?? 350 kw i think your car is similar to mine that eat lots of fuel on normal drive, i have no idea about highway drive. thanks

Yea because it would be around $650 - 700++ for FUEL , plus some motel so it is around 800. I wanted to do the run, but think about the risk of driving at night and have no experience at all. I might pass it and toss it on the truck for $500. Unless i really have time to drive and have the money to stop for days.

Lol it's not silly , I had 740cc injectors and 450hp bolt on turbo , fuel pump changed, fuel regulator etc So it will cost a lot more fuel I think? Might be double or triple? Well if it's double then shipping the car over is way better?

If plus air ticket it will be under $650 total to get me and my wife to melb with my car. I am wondering if I drive there it will be more expensive because of fuel and motel?

Hi SAU skyline lovers, I recently broke the gasket of the air intake manifold and i bought the part to replace it. But when i unscrew the top 4 nuts on the intake manifold i noticed there is more nuts below and i couldn't reach it with my noob tools. Just asking for a favour is someone nearby can come help me to do it? I am a newbie so it is pretty hard for me and i don't know what to do. I am willing to pay a little bit if needed Please help! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, maybe that's what happened to me!!! i had pretty good sound system and maybe the battery went flat before the alternator charge it!! That is why the battery keep going flat and die. And short drive yes

if its a fuse issue, it wont stay at 10V right? 10V is way too low correct??

do you mean ask a auto electrician to rebuild the alternator inside for me? do you know roughly how much it will cost? and i have no idea how to remove it from my car and refit it

Need a good/perfect working condition alternator for my car. My alternator seems not working anymore , it just show 10v on the reading meter and mechanic said the alternator wasn't charging the battery that is why it read 10v. thanks guys

yayaya that's what the SuperCheap guy told me, and asked me to replace the Alternator. And he said it will cost a lot :(((

sounds like mine when my battery dead, the battery got not enough power to start the car. If jump is working then your car can still use the battery for a few days/weeks? Jump means you taking other's car battery power to start your car and then you still use your underpower battery, the car do charge the battery but it won't last long anymore. It will die soon so replace the battery asap.

Hi Guys, I just had my battery replaced. I did it myself. What i did: I went to supercheap and bought a battery branded "Century" with slightly bigger size battery(the guys said this have more power and it have no problem as long as i can fit it in) because they don't have the one exactly same with the old one i using. And i went back home then replace my battery, it was pretty quick. After that, yay! my engine started but then i realize i can't turn on my stereo system(radio) , there is no power on stereo. Also the batter light is ON on the dashboard. I then went back to supercheap and get another guy to check what is wrong with it, he took out a Century battery meter(tester) and then test my car. When he ready he asked me to start my car and then the meter read 10.5V(around) and he told me it has to be minimum 13.X v . Rev the engine won't raise the V too. Then he told me that my "Alternator" is broken and need a replacement for that. He said the Alternator won't charge the battery anymore that is why it stay at 10.5v and he asked me to drive back home asap and then find a mechanic to replace my Alternator. Is he correct? Just want to make sure before i go and buy an Alternator from wreckers. Thanks a lot guys. p.s Also my car wasn't so smooth on idle. It's like close to dead, probably it's because it only have 10.5v?
