  1. The answers you seek are in the "Tutorials" section of this forum. I looked there and pulled my mirrors completely apart and found the problem.
  2. Why when you can buy a razo one ! ? I originally started out making stock ones cause my original one was worm out and when I priced a new one I was quoted nearly $700 ( Ive owned R33s for around 10 years now ) back then from a parts dealer ! ! ! And because of that I decided then to make one that wouldnt wear off the vyln/leather from every day use.
  3. R33AzzA your pics didnt come up ? If I can get a look at the design and see how it works internally I willing to give it a go
  4. Looking for the best place to buy front wheel bearings. Tried CBC at Smithfield and they quoted me $148 each ! Anyone found better ?

  6. Just tried to up load them again and they wont go into the attachments file any more ?????
  7. Dude ! You misunderstand me. I dont need your gear knob. There not reconditioned they are reproduction. I got a couple of finished stockers and about 6 unfinished one some where in a box around the place
  8. Yes I have made other types. I still have stocks of exact repro stock 300zx ones in the standard black and a bunch of other colours. The 300 gear knob is a lot longer than normal and when you try to replace it with an aftermarket one theres a large gap between the boot and the new knob. In the 300 style I have a prototype totally water clear knob with bunch of clear diodes in the bottom that light the whole thing up when you put your lights on. As to styles, I guess any thing can be done. Polyester resin is fairly versatile and can be coloured just about any how. I always thougth that the best looking style of knob was the stock shape with either the side panels in the colour of your car and the center black or the center section in the colour of you car and the side panels black. But thats just my opinion and everyone an individual.
  9. Yes its Peter They are made out of polyester resin. There not refab gear knob but a new molded one. The mold was taken off a almost new one and the process reporduces every detail right down to the crinckly leather/vynl finish of the original stock one. As to price ! Ha ! Ive been making these for years and could never get any one to look at buying them or even looking at them for that matter. In the end I gave away my stocks and sent them to people here on the forum at my own expense then basically gave up trying. No one was instersted when I told them they were exact repros made of polyester resin and couldnt tell the difference even looking at point blank. I started out at $50 and went right down to $30 for the stock one. Couldnt sell one. Almost a year of development work off ond on to get the stock knob molding process right so it could be made all in the one go. I never bothered to work out a price for the C/F one as that is a bugger to make. You gotta make two stock ones cut off the side panels on one and uses the center section on the other. Then profile down the center section C/F it, make the H pattern, then put about 5mm clear over the top. Sand and polish to the right profile and then attach the side panels. Oh and I can make the stock one in just about any colour.
  10. Heres a go at both stock and one with a carbon fibre center section. Exact reprodction that dont wear out. Stock Carbon Center Section
  11. Guys air is also pulled into it from behind the front head light. Still working on the side panel that isolates the pod from the engine heat. Reworking the panel as a twin walled partishon with fiberglass in between about 1cm apart. Not happy with pods though cause if any oil gets on your afm the computer reads it as rich and leans it down. Already lost one exhaust scroll that way on a mates car. Went so lean it began to crystalise the cast iron and cracked the hell out of it. Im working on a tripple stock panel filter box arrangement that fits inside the whole thing. Yes at the moment stock intercoooler but I have a large front mount that plumps back into the original pipe work. A panel sits on top of the intercooler and dirrects air up into the snorkel
  12. Heres my go at it on a R33 ! Cant be much different for a R34 I should think !
  13. I can do a stock shape gold/black carbon fiber weave mat centre section. The center piece is clear for about 4mm in depth with the gold black underneath. Black side panels that look like the original. Been doing them a while in various colour combos but nobodys interested in them. Drop me a e-mail to [email protected] and I'll send you pics of a black/black carbon fiber center section one Ive got on my car

  20. Yep looks exactally like the one I do for the R33s
  21. Dude ! Are they the same as the R33 ones ? Or are they a 6 speed pattern ? I have repro R33 ones.
  22. Hi all, I am after a harmonic balancer for an R33 GTST, in good condition.. Preferably in Sydney.. Thanks
  23. And thanks sl33py for that flywheel ! Its going on my 3ltr and will do just fine. Used ligthened flywheels on a lot of engines over the years, right up to a full aluminium one. Basically you get used to them as you go along. Its true about their ability to improve the speed of the recipricating mass of the engine. The faster it revs the faster it spools !
  24. Check that your clutch pedal box aint broken the spot welds. Same ting happened to mine one my r33 when I changed to a 3lt and up graded the clutch and big poundage pressure plate.
  25. Dude go to the "Tutorials" section there a repair method for them there.
