Got three unfinised ones from the last lot ( they need the thread bored into them ) ! Got pics some where ! The moulding process allows EXACT reproduction of the original item. Right down to the leathery crinkle finish, grooves, numbers the lot !
I used to make exact reproduction ones that didnt wear. No one was interested in buying stock ones so I stopped making them. Basically gave them away in the end.
Im after the drivers side seat tilt leaver ( the plastic bit ) for a R33 GTST as mine never came with one.
Its finally driven me nuts not having one there.
Preferably in Sydney (west ) for pick up but will pick up postage if nesessary.
Thanks in advance.
Has the latch thingy broken off completely or is it just flopping around loose in the holder ?
If its the second PM Smoky as he has made repair springs for this problem.
Famous ! Wouldnt piss on them if they were on fire !
Was with them for nearly 7 years then had a at fault low speed accident(roof damage) and the car was written off buy them.
My first at fault accident in 25 years of driving.
Paid out around $1100 bucks a year in that time to them.
Bought another line and rang em up to get it insured and was told "that we dont reinsure customers after a write off situation, its company police" !!!! What The F%#k !
Went to Shannons for about $870 a year for the same value.
Six month later was sitting at an intersection waiting to turn right and was hit head on by a Porsch running a red. Total write off both me and the car. Shannons where the best. Had the cheque 5 days after the claim went in.
I couldnt speak more highly of their service and profesinalism.
Hi all
I've got just about all the bits off it I want
Car has about 205K on the clock as i have owned it for about 9 years
The car went under a Holden Rodeo with an alloy table top. Slid it up the bonnet and up the A pillar pulling the roof down and continued down the side of the car
The insurance paid out on it and its not a statutory write off just uneconomical for the insurance to repair. So its still registrable after repair. It still has the compliance plates attached.
The motor is only a stripped short motor as I used it for a RB25/30 conversion. Its in there just to hold up the gear box. Everything else is rolling.
The seat bolsters are worn as I used them on my present car. The only other thing that it different is someone offered me good money for the shifter and I replaced it with a RB20 one. Works fine except that you cant shift fast into 4th.
The fuel pump has also been sold.
Not breaking any more parts off it as I want the entire car gone.
$2800 ono
PM me if your interested
Located in Sydney
Thanks
Stripped mine all apart and cleaned them down with acetone the coated them twice with a good quality polyester resin ! No misfire for around a year. Very easy to do and works fine as the polyester resin seaps into the cracks catylises and is stable up to about 600 degrees C !
Do a google search on Eldred Norman. He had a on/offswitch on his supercharged 1967 HR holden 6.. Normally asparated through the carb and filck the switch and it would redirect throught the supercharger !
Yep sounds about right for that type of clutch ! Also check if your clutch peddal box is ok and the spot welds are holding together. Big poundage pressure plates tend to bust em.
Sorry to hear its gone to god. Been there done that with the bad luck thing. Smoky gave me the heads up. Look just use his parts and do a 3lt for your 33 he aint gonna use em for a while anyway ! ! !
