  3. Had the same problem a little while ago ! Best battery I found was Supercharge Gold 36 from Peps Autospares for about $125. Its 710 cold crank amps ( Stock Skyline ones are about 280 ! ) Cold cramps (CCA ) is the number of times that the battery can crank the motor over from dead cold before it goes flat. Make sure you get a negative left hand terminal. The battery is a low maintaince sealed unit and comes with a 36 month warranty. Oh and you gotta get a larger battery bracket Hope this helps
  4. I got a brand new head gasket for one. $85.

  7. Im afraid Im out as well ! $%&%en work called me in early this morning.
  8. I got the exedy 5 puck. It bights hard and I love it. The pucks are usually cintered ceamic bronze. The 8 puck is a fantastic buy from bigsully84 and is more streetable. Its swings and roundabouts. I went for the 5 puck cause the pucks are riveted on and( as far as I can remember ) are cheaper to change when they wear out . The 8 puck are bonded and are a bit more involved to reco.
  9. Might be a good idea to check if your clutch pedal box aint broken. It happened to mine with a couple of the spot welds on one side of the bracket failing

  20. Is there fluid coming out anywhere ? Is the new clutch a heavy duty unit ? Cause if it is the extra pressure plate pressure might of busted your clutch pedal box. You'll have to get underneath where the pedals are and check
  21. Yep ! There both pressure packs. I use Holts Dupli-color Auto Spray Plastic primer ( its clear ) and K+H Surface technologies Engine Enamel 300 degrees C. in matt black.
  22. Ha Ha ! Ive done several of these now and got a couple waiting to be finished off and painted. I found the best way to do it is to just carefully scrape off the soft coating with a lable scraper, stanley blade and then go over it with scotch brite to get into all the nooks and crannies. Its time consuming but worth it with the scotch brite. Then I sand the whole thing down with some very fine wet and dry sand paper and water to get rid of any nicks or scratches. Then I wipe it down with metholated spirits and apply two coats of plastic primer and then two coats of matt black high temp engine enamel. The last one I did for a mate I also filled in the blanked off hole next to the air con sensor vent and also filled in the coin holder next to the side mirror adjster. Came up a treat.
  23. Im after a very small boost gauge to fit in a small spot. From memory I think HKS put out a very small one ( feel free to correct me on that one ) Might of been about 30mm or so in diameter Thanks Guys
