  1. To get drunk and have fun. When I was 15 we used to go out binge drinking in the local park. Part of growing up. Never caused a nuisance like throwing rocks or anything.
  2. Reminds me of a scene a few months ago whilst waiting for the ferry at the bottom of Barrack Street. A couple - both about 17-18 -, both drunk, being extremely abusive to an older couple; swearing, insults etc. Not sure why but something had been said. What was +100 times embarrassing was that the older couple had two girls with them ~6-8 y/o who had to endure the expletives from these two foul mouthed kids. Totally shameless behavior. The younger guy threatening to beat up the older guy. I mean WTF who says that to a guy who has his kids with him? It's cowardly.
  3. The suburban middle classes have always feared groups of young men...especially when they have motor vehicles. Seen The Wild One with Marlon Brando? You had motorcycle gangs and street racing in the late 40's and the American small town middle class were petrified of them to the point of near hysteria. The bikers were not out to pillage or rape, just wanted to 'be cool' and let of a bit of steam with bikes...they were misunderstood.
  4. I'd be careful about duffing up a minor, you could get in a lot of trouble even if they deserve it.
  5. Yes I was going to mention that. It seems it takes an injury or death for the cops to give a damn about this sort of thing; once the media gets hold of it that is. Anyway there is a lack of consequences for kids in our society nowadays. It has lots of causes I guess: Police, parents, lack of community, soft liberal do-gooders etc.
  6. Car's at the shop over the weekend anyway waiting for a tune.
  7. Why, where do you want to put the gauge? The single gauge I have sits in a cup which is connected to a plate via a hinge. Given that the gauge can be rotated inside the cup the options for mounting are very comprehensive. However I am not sure if the plate can be rotated about the hinge to be parallel with face of the gauge. If you want to mount it on the face of the dash then a DIN holder would be easier I think? The cup is for sticking it say on top of the dash or steering column.
  8. Engine. We're all red blooded men here.
  9. Are you sure? Maybe what you thought was the HICAS feeling was just the back end squirming or to do with your LSD (or lack of it)?
  10. They have had rear facers in the UK for ages along with average speed cameras.
  11. Are straight owners allowed?
  12. Is the muffler supposed to stick up like a very eager erection?
  13. Maybe you are better off putting it on a flat bed or towing it down to workshop? Is the starter motor turning over BTW?
  14. Don't forget to add the cost of a decent helmet and jacket.
  15. Eghey is full of scam artists, be careful. Cars in the UK can suffer from rust real bad due to salt on the roads.
  16. Unless the car is a lag monster and you have slicks I am not sure that is going to make a difference? I mean traction is the limiting factor for the launch on a regular street car right?
  17. I'd be interested to see the finishing speeds then as that may reveal that it is all in the launch.
  18. Is this not something to do with the final drive ratio? I don't see how a slush box can be faster than the manual with a good driver...all other things being equal.
  19. Time to kill the thread with some graphic tentacle hentai.
  20. Good luck if it is raining hard.
  21. The Impellor could be stainless steel.
  22. That might make sense if you were planning to stick your penis in the bellmouth.
  23. What is the point of that? It is like going to the show, taking your clothes off, them putting them back on afterwards.
