Are you sure it was a r33 shaft because he is a r33 drive shaft with a r32 drive shaft Im not sure how it could happen the r33 front drive shaft is heaps longer and so the centre bearing will no longer fit. Im thinking its was front shaft of something else r32 on the right

I just finished my conversion today easy very easy The speedo drive is one of the easiest things you will ever do. and be careful with the loop in the speedo cable so its not to tight ( its there because the speedo drive is further forward on the gearbox than on the r32 gearbox a couple of things I was struggling to find out and couldn't find. The Nissan gear box cross members all have a letter on them. You need the A cross member it bolts straight in. the front half of the drive shaft needs 10-15 mm added to it. You cant use the front half of a r33 tailshaft on the back half of a r32 tailshaft , it is to long. Any other questions Its fresh in my head

I wouldn't say the ute sped up to 122 but I would say he sped up to stop you passing and due to the fact you were already 75% of the way through the maneuver and you believed that breaking hard din the rain would be unsafe you sped up your self to pass the car. The ute driver was being an idiot by driving slow on the corners on purpose then speeding up to stop you passing

guys talk in hp or kw 500hp is 373kw. Trying to guess loss in the drive train is really not worth it. Just talk in rwhp and your fine. Unless of course your trying to put your engine on an engine dyno. The fact that you had deto and blew up shows lack of a decent tune. No engine tuner should have let that car go out with a lack of fuel delivery. The forged pistons will not stop deto but they will handle it for a bit longer before putting you back in the same situation.

I have decided I want some of the features of the motec the power fc doesnt offer Unit is running fine and is in excellent condition. Pictures to come as its still in my car. Thats about the same as I am after leroy I have rebuilt the bottom end with a bore and new pistons. Its very easily inside the performance limits of this engine to make 400hp and to rev to 7000. Im going to go for 18psi or 400hp what ever comes first

Here is my car turned around and getting ready for the gear box to go in soon I will do a build thread for this car soon enough. The 30/26 is just about ready to go The front bar is just zip tied on at the moment but it will be held on correctly soon. Im just going to a friends place who has a hoist to put the gear box in and will do the bar at the same time
