No it’s divided all the way to the top. So until the wastegate opens it a fully divided manifold. Good point on the space thanks for that. They ran a t04z from hks so I think they were a big turbo in size

What would be the disadvantage of a modern internal waste gate

Thanks mate. It’s kinda where I am headed. I appreciate any feedback of some one who has tried it. I really wish they did a t4 twin scroll internal wastegate for that turbo. Would make my mind up instantly.

Great reading here. I am just in the process of buying a new turbo for my 26/30. Im only after about 500 whp with killer response max rpm about 7000-7500 I was lucky enough to pick up an old hks split pulse manifold ( low mount with top mounted wastegate) Cant make up my mind between a g30-770 or a g30-900 with a .85 divided manifold . Im really open to what every one thinks, im looking for and would appreciate help . I did look at the efr but its impossible to get them at the moment.

Help me please I have my rb30/26 sitting in the engine bay. The wiring is all plugged in the car will crank over.The ecu is plugged in and Im ready to go for a drive well almost. There is a 14 pin plug under the dash by the ecu. the rb26 has loom has about 10 wires. the gtst has about 5. Im not sure which ones do what. There is two wires that match up by position and color. Has anyone had experience with this and know which ones need connecting to where. Thanks

Does anyone have a stock rb20 compressor map or at least know what the stock wheel was so I can figure it out. Im running a t25 on my diesel terrano and I am looking for the right compressor for my application thanks

Aprilia are known for shitting cranks, You may have had a good run I have replaced 5 cranks for people in these bikes. There was a few engines in these scooters The morini was crap the mineralli engine was alot better. You may have had the mineralli one as most of the morni ones are on there 3rd crank Roller weights too light no top speed, to heavy slow speed just right fast acceleration as well as the same top speed.

Use the stock manifold. When the engine blows put a 25 head on it and then buy an aftermarket manifold. Saves you buying two manifolds. The ebay spec steam pipe is the same as we bought for the jpp missile r33. It had a pin hole which we welded up wrecker spec rb25det is making 437 hp at the wheel on 19psi boost. Nothing wrong with the manifolds as long as you check them well enough for pin holes. As far as long term cant say just yet

Thats a good point I have had federal 595 tyres on my car before and they were awesome. I was hoping to go back to them. But since I made a alloy wheel change they didnt come in the size I needed. Personally 595 would have been a better choice

Im using them on my daily, a commonwhore station wagon. They work just fine and are not bad in the wet. I would not run them on my skyline but as a general use tyre nothing wrong with them
