    well my GTR finally comes to my house tomorrow.. What should I do to it before i start it up etc? I have heard that I should flush the oil and stuff.. Im going to go buy some stuff for it after it comes.. irridium plugs??? motul turbo lite 3000?? coolant.. is that all i should get? will those plugs and oil be alright? its an 89 r32 gtr... thanks

    in answer to the thread question. when my car arrived i was sent out an invioce with everythign i have to pay, including the towing to my door... i have to wait about 10 days, the car will then be towed to my house.. Then have to tow the car to be complied, then rego, then fun

    well i dont own that skyline anymore, so the plates arnt registered to anything

    yeah ive got 5 sets of personalised plates i could put on it... what would happen if i was caught (just out of interest )

    my car is booked in.. still got another month to wait until i can actually drive my car! 2 weeks with a gtr in my driveway that i cant drive.. OMG thats HARSH!

    very interesting! have you already bought the car??? im sure many people will keep a close eye on this thread.. I wonder if buying a 1990 gtr in 2005 will fall under the same category as buying a 1990 gtr in 2004? GOOD LUCK! MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

    yeah get somebody to look at the car, racq inspections are good. or even if you have a mate that realy knows his stuff

    it get delivered to my door early next week... i will be talking to my dad about getting it insured etc, so if its possible for me to keep it i will.. but my chances are slim.. (which is why i have advertised it in the 1st place).. ive had quite a lot of interest over the last week so yeah, shouldnt be on sale for tooo long

    also i think you should get use to driving a car period, rather then driving an rb26dett around! i wouldnt want an inexperienced 17 year old driving around my area in a car with 320HP... but looks like the plans a solid one and you've thought about it alot.

    yeah i dont have a problem man.. just found it it amusing how in depth you plans went.. there is a very good chance your plans will change, like many other including myself i have plans that change often... for example the gtr im importing.. i still dont know if i will be keeping or selling it.. but i always have certain plans in the back of my head on what i would like to do.

    well i havent even sent my agent a copy of my VIA form yet! i had to get one resent out cuz they had the wrong VIN number on it.. i will be faxing it away on monday.. yeah anyway, any northside complience places around that anybody knows of?

    i have no idea when the car will be out.. how do they notify us that its ready to pick up? yeah i wouldnt do the work by myself. i dont like my chances of getting my car complied for jan 1st ey?

    my car landed yesterday and i havent booked for complience yet.. where should i go in brisbane? is there a list of companies in brisbane anywhere? obviously i want my car complied asap.. its a 1989 r32 gtr. (im sure there is a thread on this somewhere, but had a llook in qld section and couldnt see anything)

    apparently the number plate "has to be parrallel with the axels on your car, but can be anywhere" quote from a qld pig. someonestolecc: you can buy kits that when you press a button the number plate folds down and there is someone giving the finger behind it.. the kit was $150 from memory

    yeah its those silver ones.. can you buy zeroR body kits? mainly the rear bar that says zero R or sub zero.. what ever it says

    OMFG!!! i just found out today that the VIN/chassis number on my VIA form is incorrect! and my car is set to arrive in Brisbane in 7 days!!!
