    at the switch end of the cable, when it is on "boxer" an led light comes on from the end of the switch.. the other end of the cable runs into the computer and i dont know where it goes in there.. When i bought the car the previous owner was asian and hard to understand, he said it was something to do with the fuel??? i cant realy notice any difference when it is set on normal or boxer.

    just a question for you, sorry about it beign off topic, but i hope youi can help.. when i got my car there was a cable comming from the computer with a switch on it.. either "boxer" or "normal". it said Field above it... is this what you have? what does it do. i would love any feedback as i have had the car for 6months and not known what this does. thanks

    have you recently changed the plugs or anything? check them out anyway, and clean/check you afm and connector. i dont think the car will even start if you have a faulty CAS.

    i think i fixed the problem how the stereo turns it self on and off at gear changes... It started doing it EVERY time i changed gears.... So i hit it.. hasnt done it since.

    im not sure, i havent touched anything since i got it 6 months ago.. maby something has come loose over time.. It just doesnt seem right that it works perfectly normal until i change gears. Even when the handbreak is up and the car isnt moving it does it.

    I dont know if a thread like this has been started before, but i couldnt find one. Well one weird this my 32 does is, when the car is cold if i put it in reverse the head unit will turn off, then i put it in neutral and it will go turn back on. the head unit somtimes turns off when i go into 3rd too.. weird... what about you guys, anything like that happen to you?

    i took mine off just the other day and resprayed them in flat black... looks a lot beter, didnt sand anything back either and its as smooth as new. i rekon save your money and buy some $5 flat black paint. takes about 30mins, then just let dry for and hr or so.

    I asked prestige about an r32 gtr, he added me to the list, i was then receiving an email everyday with about 20 gtr's for sale... What you see on the site isnt all of them..

    Thats why i asked the question, to see if my car was running how it should be. I guess there are a few variables tho.. I have the car booked in for a major service on the 23rd of this month.. I will post my dyno readout.

    take the 4wd fuse out. or while the car is moving turn it off for a sec, then turn the car back on. you will me in rwd. The when you stop it will go 4wd again

    yeh i hated it. I would spike to 1bar almost every time in 1st and second and would take until 5000rpm in 3rd to reach .8bar which was full boost. i swaped it for an old style single stage controller from turbosmart. might just be MY car tho

    yer i also have pipes from my front bar up thru the stock cooler hole for some cold air.. I dont know how much diff that would make tho.. is there a template anywhere for a heat shield for the pod in an r32?

    I have an r32 gts4 with: hybrid fmic full 3in exhaust/hiflow cat boost at 13psi k&n pod filter. And my mates 180sx has a full 3in exhaust and pod. And he still pulls away from me quite easily. Is that normal? On the highway i dont stand a chance against it. Should it be a bit closer?

    you can just put some lip balm or something on the metal ring bit which i assume u dont want to paint. then after the paint is dry just rub lip balm off and there wil be no paint on it... just a thought if your having trouble take the lighter out.

    maby the plugs then. Heat range is wrong or something... I had NGK iridiums in my car.. took them out preety quickly tho.. It would idle at about 1000 when cold then 1800rmp when it was warm. Your problem doesnt seem quite as serious tho.. There was also other promblems with theses plugs tho. eg, wouldnt hit boost, wouldnt rev over 2100rpm.

    dont expect to beat 180's unless you have a few mods Air vents are sh1t. Seats can give you a bit of back pain Sh1t all power under 3000rpm Not much room in the back for sex On the up side they are all style

    again... get a metal intake pipe. it will not damage anything and will make the noise. i love the sound its all personal tho i guess
