    does it do it about 2-5min after a cold start? say you cold start it, then drive for 5mins not stopping, then you have to stop and let it idle. If it is that then i would say it is normal as my 32 does that and its probably just to warm the engine up a bit quicker or something... just a thought

    with the ideling try some new plugs.. Mine use to idle from 800 to 0rpm, battery light came on, then it would start back up... i was going about 160kmph (on an open road way out west) and i put it in neutral, the car then turned off... thats scary cuz power assisted breaks and power steering also goes off. its not too bad now with the new plugs in. also clean the afm and reset the computer.

    mine was machined when i got the clutch changed... Didnt realy notice much. Just a very small increase in pickup at low revs. They probably didnt take much off.

    how much is it going to cost to highflow your turbo?

    ohh, i also read in a mag, an r32 gts4 ran a mid 13 with only pod, exhaust and more boost.. I dont know if i should believe that tho

    both cars in stock form - the gtst is faster as it is i think 100kg lighter. BUT that is if they are both stock. I can keep up with a 12sec rex up to about 85kmph, after that its gone tho. im preety sure the gtr box is a bit stronger??? but the gts4 box is still a strong one. gts4 is quite amazing from the lights.. i usually take off at 6500rpm and ride the clutch a little... it chirps a bit but that is all.

    i got a gasket for the turbo/dump from drift king geebung.

    yep, my mates rex didnt make the flutter noise at all, then as he got the fmic he also got that metal pipe... Now it flutters... His pipe also has a 90 degree bend in it which will make the flutter more noticable.

    Get a metal intake pipe from a pod filter.................................

    yeh thats true.. I have my own oil (Motul 4100 turbolight), oil filter (Z145A) and NGK iridium plugs which should cut the price a bit.

    I was quoted $860 for a 100,000km service from Gavin Woods. Inc water pump change.. for my r32 gts4. I think thats a bit pricy. Came to me as a bit of a shock when people from here have said it would cost around $500. Surely there are cheaper places that do quality work like i have heard Gavin does.
