hey guys after some skidders for a mates R34... he said the wheels dont have to be anything flash they could be the ugliest things in the world for all he cares and tyres arent essential but would be an added bonus pm me if you have any with some pics and a price cheers

they reallly dont make that much of a difference.. you sacrifice a tad low end for a bit better pickup in top end revs ( so i've heard ) but nothing too crazy.... as for where to buy them.. cant beat DKNE in syd (they do delivery to) http://dkne.com.au/ cheers

man my 34 did the same... get a resonator put in..... ive had one in for a bit now and it worked a treat.. HOWEVER in the last few days it has come back?? but i only put 1 small resonator in.. u can fit 2 reasonally big ones i think on the 34's might take it back and get another.. but yeah they usually take ya resonators out when u get a muffler/cannon etc on my 2c.. goodluck

man i was just about to make my own thread..!! the other night i noticed my drivers side h/l went out along with the parker..... a few times it would flicker on and off but mianly stay off... only high beams wud work... tonight i was driving along and thought why is it so dark.. then i realised my left side h/l has gone as well.. now i only have the left hand side parker working and high beams (without the right hand side parker working on high beams aswell) mines an R34 sedan... and mines the same as yours obviously were XENON's but durring comliance have been reverted to plain old lights (not sure if ballasts are sitll there i think my ballasts are gone actually) anyone know what it could be?

ok thanks RBceffy25, i'll definatley have a little look around that area thanks for the input mate. Arthur T3, yeah i have been thinking its either the way my pedal has been put in or my fork is not operating properly so does anyone know how to diagnose the clutch fork? or do i have to get everythin ripped out? i think i got quoted like $500ish to get everything ripped out and gone over... + then whatever parts need fixing etc. but i dont really wanna go paying all that money... the part that i dont get is.. it was driving perfect for 6months or so.. then suddenly just whilst stopped at lights i went to take off and noticed it had gone all soft (the pedal) and the engagment point was straight off the floor... so why would it just go all of a sudden? maybe it is the pedal itself what ceffy suggested.. the welds just broke then... cheers

alright well anyway i started this thread in the first place to ask people in the brisbane area (preferably northside) of some reputable and good clutch specialists.... so anyone know of any good places to take it to be diagnosed properly around the northside?

Could An Out Of Alignment Clutch Cause This?
noely1 replied to TUF250's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
mine does th esame.. when its cold 1st - 2nd crunches... little notchy into 3rd.. once it heats up it will do it occasionally only.... -
ahhhh.. ok? GT AUTO GARAGE here in Brisbane, are the ones that said its my master cylinder for sure and that the seal was broken so i got that done. it happened again so i took it back and they said ok next step is ur slave.. so i said ok got that done and they said that should be the last of it.. you have a new line, new master, new slave theres nothing else there that could be the problem.. and now its happened again..... so before you go takin a stab at ME, i havent done any of this work, QUALIFIED mechanics have recommended everything that has been done and they have done all the work... not me. cheers for the concern tho
-
its not leaking from what i can see... everything is fine... at first the clutch line was leaking so i got a new braided one fitted... and it did it again so ive now got my master and slave cylinders reconditioned..... i wouldnt have a clue what the problem is now, or where to look from here

i have a R34 converted to a manual using R33 GTST bits, with a heavy duty clutch (i dont know the brand) car has ran fine for 6 or so months til one day my pedal starting getting softer and softer til eventually i cudnt even get a grab point and it wouldnt go into gear... so i found a leaking clutch line.. got that fixed a week later the clutch did the same... so i got my master cylinder re-hauled.... now 2 weeks after that my clutch has done the same thing so i got my slave cylinder over hauled... just got it back the other day after getting the slave all done..... problem is back again....... WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!! it's really bothering me cheers

why did u add pics of the car? lol

Clutch Engaging Too High
noely1 replied to Greg's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
i had the exact same problem.. go my MASTER cylinder changed and now it back to normal.. nice firm pedal release point just below half way out greeat success!! i had a squeak as i depressed my clutch as well.. that is still slighty there... i only got the car back today so in the next few days if it goes again then i change the slave cylinder... but so far all good with just changing the master -
Hey guys need a NON TURBO R34 MANUAL ECU for an RB25DE engine. willing to pay good money with loom cheers
-
did you get your resonators removed or have you got any in?
-
ok so my mechanic said bla bla bla cant adjust clutch since its hydraulic.. so we got onto adjusting the pedal... now the pedal pressure is great just teh same as before i love it - its not soft anymore - but the release point is really really really high... like literally a few inches before the clutch is completley up, then it grabs... my question is if i adjust the pedal back down so the release point is where it was before (just below half way when clutch is depressed, i loved it like that) then will the pedal go soft again? if it does go soft again... wat is actually wrong?? i got the master and slave diagnosed and they are both functioning correctly so wat else cud go wrong?? its a heavy duty clutch and its done probably 10-15 thousand klms only since being put in

to the top... lowest i can go is $12,500 cash without the wheels, you can keep the sound system and everything else. still come with 6mnths rego and RWC
