Will These Wheels Fit On My Car?
James34 replied to Melbr33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I have a 34 GT-t, and I'm currently running 18 x 9 +18 with no problem. Not too different from what you're looking at. Pics of mine attached to get a comparison. Tyre sizes will make a little difference. I have 235/40s on front and 265/35 on rear. Hope this is a least a bit of help. -
First post, plus bad grammar, plus a poorly worded question about something that irks everyone (to put it nicely) = asking for a flaming Next will be "How can I get fully sick dose? Wanna get my car to flutter!"
-
Ended up getting 18 x 9 +18 all round, no rolling required. For those that are interested:

Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines
James34 replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
For anyone that is interested, I went with the 18x9 +18 all round. Skyline model = 1998 R34 GT-t Wheel model = Enkei RP03 Wheel diameter = 18 Wheel width = 9" Wheel offset = +18 Tyre size = Front 245/40, Rear 265/35 Modifications to fit = None Here is the result (looks pretty good methinks...) -
Hi guys, Long story short, my car is being repaired, but needs some wheels chucked on for a week or so until my new ones are shipped in. If anyone has a set of wheels which would fit a 34 GTT, would be very much appreciated. Cheers

Hi-jacking of thread for my own personal gain... Getting 18 x 9 +18s all round. Rolling required? Cheers.

Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines
James34 replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Was thinking that. Would there be any issues with this on the fronts? (i.e. any modifications required, wheels poking out etc) Don't think there would be any issue with the rears... -
Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines
James34 replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Skyline model = 1998 R34 GT-t Wheel model = Blitz (not sure what model exactly, all I know is that they are 3-piece, and 5 spoke) Wheel diameter = 18 Wheel width = Front 8.5, Rear 9.5 Wheel offset = Not entirely sure, picture attached though Tyre size = Front 245/40, Rear 265/35 Modifications to fit = Again, not sure (was on the car when I got it...) Well, that was my OLD set up (accident = damaged wheels = need to buy a new set!) Which brings me to me to a question! Getting some Enkei RP03s, and looking at the following: Fronts - 18 x 8.5, +30 Rears - 18 x 9, + 18 Any thought on whether this will work? There is a 18 x 10, +22 option aswell. Any thoughts appreciated! -
Cheers for the reply! I've had a look at that thread...pretty handy, and it gives some ideas, cheers for that.

Hi guys! I have little to no knowledge of wheels, and was wondering whether anyone can help me out here. I'm looking at buying some Enkei RP03s for my R34 Gt-t, and I'm not sure how the specs will fit my car (i.e. whether they will fit, whether they will look any good, whether any modification will be required etc). They have been pretty difficult to source, but I've found the following couple of options: 18 x 8.5, +30mm offset and 19 x 8.5 (don't have details on offset yet...) Also, would specs for front and rear need to be different? Or the same? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don't know about everyone else, but my attention was not drawn to the number plate I was focussing on everything else

Thanks to everyone! Had a good response, just shows the kind of people we have on this forum. The Bayside Blue GTR is just a perfect specimen I'll send you a PM with some details. Cheers

It's early December, and I think the next best thing after a 34GTR would be a 32! If I can't orgainse a 34, this would be awesome. If you like you can PM me when you would be available, and what you might like in return? And I'll get back to you asap. That would be pretty amazing haha sau cruise for an escort would make my day

Hey fellas. I'm getting married in December (crazy I know), and am looking to have s couple of Lines for my wedding cars. I'm going to use my 34 as one, but am looking for one 34GTR to be the second. If anyone can help me out, would be greatly appreciated! PM me if you may be able to help, and I'll let you know deets about the day. Also, just let me know what I can do in return Cheers in advance fellas.

I had a similar issue in my 34GTt. Turns out (for me) one of the vac hoses was disconnected at one end (it had cracked at the end). Snipped the end of the line, connected it back up, and good as gold. Ended up replacing that vac hose in the end just to be sure.

I think this sentence just resolved it for everyone! How about we go along, have a good day, and help out a charity now?

I'd be keen for sure! I play Tues and Wednesdays already, but always keen for more...

Hey fellas, I'm looking to buy a GTS-t R32 Wastegate Actuator. If anyone wants to get rid of one, PM me and we can sort it out. Cheers!
-
I have a query and figured this was the best place to ask... Is replacing the R34 GTt wastegate actuator with an r32 wastegate actuator legal? As I understand it, R32 actuators are set at 10psi stock... Cheers in advance.

I reckon that is the main thing. If you are a dick, and stand-offish, and argue, then you won't get any chances. That's not to say you can't ask questions, but be civil about it. If they see you are a decent person they usually give you one chance. My experience with cops in general actually. If you know you've done something wrong, don't argue. And even if you haven't, don't be a dickhead

I'm always keen for another cruise... If the next one is an open invite, can I have details? Cheers!

From my experience with him, he seems like a fairly decent guy just doing his job. And he explained why the bc and wheel studs were illegal. Then gave me an opportunity to fix it up. Can't ask for more than that I guess?

Ha yeah, this is the reputation I've heard, that's why I thought myself lucky. And hence why I won't be taking any risks, and getting those things seen to. Not 100% sure that it was him, but he had the Scottish accent, and knew what he was talking about with the car. Also said "he was down this way" for a few weeks, which I took to mean he's not from the area...
