Bump, sorry for bring up an old thread but i need the first question answered as i plan to do the conversion in a few weeks time! Thought id bump this thread instead of creating a new one. if i purchase 5 Stud hub/brakes/rotors from an R33 S2 ABS is it still compatible to be swapped over to my S1 Non ABS ? do i just leave the ABS rings unused? or is there more to it.

I hope the truck driver gets reemed for what he did not cool at all.

Thats something you have to live with... would you rather stock evo and money in your pocket for a nice R34 that you can mod or a modified evo...? really comes down to what car you really want most.

You do not have to take out the front quarter panel... im assuming that you have an R33 GTS/GTST if so then follow instuctions below. 1. Get a flat head screw driver and wrap it with a towel or microfiber cloth (flat end) so you dont damage your car paint 2. Slide the screw driver to the far side of the indicator closest to the door and lift it up using the screw driver and they should pop straight out.

Best way to check if the headunit actually works without hooking it up is connect the Red/Yellow wires together they should represent Ignition (Constant)/Power/Battery (+) and the Black Wire (Ground) (-). Connect the black wire to the negative terminal on your or a car battery and the red/yellow to the positive and try and power up the headunit it should work, if it doesnt then its either a blown headunit fuse or the headunit itself is not working. feel free to correct me if im wrong =) This might help

Viper 5902 i believe is the latest remote start alarm they offer and you can buy/install it for a little over $1,000 from Autobarn i'm sure if you shop around you can get it purchased and installed for bit cheaper but expect to be paying around $800 if not a bit more. Cheapest prices would probably be off eBay use a trusted seller there around $500 (AU seller) delivered or $370 from USA expect to pay a good $400 if not more for a proper installation.

Hi everyone, Don't ask for assistance often but i have searched around quite a bit and i am yet to find answers to some of the questions i have. I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but iv decided to do a 5 stud conversion on my NA R33 GTS just have a few questions i need cleared up before i begin. 1. If i get the 5 Stud hub/brakes/rotors from an R33 S2 ABS Skyline is it still compatible to be swapped over to my S1 Non ABS Skyline ? 2. Do i need GTST brake lines & handbrake cable? 3. What list of parts do i need to complete the conversion? I know you need 5 Stub Hubs/GTST Brakes/ GTST Rotors... do i need anything else? for example control arms etc... or is everything else the same on an R33 GTS and its pretty much a straight swap over once you have the three major parts. Thanks in advance =)
