To be honest i have no idea why you went to a dealer in the first place there are a lot of well maintained skylines being sold for a similar price under the sales section of the forum i would have personally started there or on carsales i believe Private sales are better for second hard cars than dealers. Some good points made by the previous posts above though! imo i wouldn't buy it, search for another one im sure you can find a much nicer much cleaner one on here or carsales. Edit: My bad just saw you where new on here just thought id give you my opinion Also check the reg / vin with your transport authority (e.g. Vic Roads) they can normally tell you a lot about the car stolen history, damage history, finance etc...

hahaha what an interesting thread Skyline owners fighting over which one looks better im an R33 owner but i love all Skylines the only thing i would change would be to put the R33's interior in the R32 but as far as the shapes / sizes go there all beautiful to me! no complaints and no preferences either.

+1 Stick to the Skyline you just need to give it some nice cosmetic updates (CF hood, side squirts etc...) Commonwhores are horrible i cant stand them new or old. I would take a skyline over them any day of the week.

Quite a naive comment i don't think you see the potential it has with the right JDM rims and a bodykit it will look great! there are very few R34's in matte black so it will be unique most likely putting up the value of the car.

Sorry i have no idea what your on about MP II or III cost close to $1000 per litre (quoted from a paint shop). expensive. i have read countless threads about it and people that have got it priced in Australia it might be cheaper in another country but to get MP II or III expect to pay that much, Its all over the nissansilvia forums on a number of different threads.

If that paint was cheap everyone would have it on there car its such an awesome colour but its to expensive for most people out there. good luck with your colour search. The Blue colour your talking about looks like the R34 Bayside Blue that's also a nice colour. i think someone posted up the paint code in the previous post.

midnight purple 3 is expensive shit the paint alone is like $7,000 (whole car) i read that somewhere not sure if its right correct me if im wrong. if you decide to paint it Midnight purple like the ones i showed its $118 Per Litre due to its red/violet pearl mix and that would be the LP2 R33 colour. i have an R33 in MP and iv bought paint to respary my front bar that's how i know the price.

Drive your dads Euro and work the skyline engine : ) probably the best thing you can do, That way when your off P-plates you will have a monster to drive around more driving experience. Skylines are not fun and games to drive if your inexperienced especially in the wet : P i learned the hard way by writing off my first NA R33 then bought another one because i loved the car so much lmao wouldn't drive anything else!

Check if theirs a solid Black wire anywhere that's normally your ground ( located at the back of the headunit) just use a connector and screw that onto the chassis (anywhere that's metal) sometimes theirs already a solid black wire connected to the chassis/loom so you can just connect the black wire coming out of the headunit to that. 4th picture back of the car has a GSI sticker so going by that the engine does not have VTEC

Congratulations the car looks beautiful : ) same colour as my car and its going to be hard for me to drive a car with a different colour i love MP with a passion one of my favorite colours along side MP2, MP3, Bayside Blue, Ultimate Black Pearl (R35 Spec V) and Top Secret Gold. Its a shame its automatic but thats a personal choice i guess.
