You can take the pipes to your local welder, ac specialist, mechanic etc... and ask around or give them a call. In my opinion you have 3 options. 1. Swap to a series 1 compressor and A/C lines. 2. Remove and change evaporator unit to a series 2 (two silver pipes / connections coming out of the firewall) 3. Visit an aircon specialist and get them to make you custom made pipes from the A/C compressor to the firewall evap unit. I know which one i would choose...

Hi Dan, This may help you http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/439044-r33-gtst-aircon-hose/ To Answer your question no... if your vehicle is a S1 then you must use a S1 compressor and S1 compressor lines, same goes for a S2 they must use S2 compressor and lines. the reason being the lines are different sizes and seal differently if you do use the wrong lines the system will contain a big leak when pressure tested or when filled up with appropriate aircon gas generally 134a

You wont be able to cut off the ends and swap them over as there is no way a welder can weld such small pipes and if they manage to weld them its unlikely they will hold the A/C pressure for long, that was the advice given to me by multiple welders/mechanics. Solution: Purchase a series 1 compressor (while you have it in your hand i recommend inspecting the bearing and changing it if needed) then simply remove the series 2 compressor and bolt the series 1 compressor in its place and use your factory series 1 A/C lines running from the A/C compressor to the firewall. Tip: Replace all your A/C "O" ring seals while everything is disconnected

Cheap LEDs causes this to happen my advice is to pull them all out and buy some decent LEDs that are rated to 14-16V i recommend ZPE (Zero Point Electronics) on eBay also an SAU member i believe.

Hi Mick, I have attached a few pictures showing the difference between R33 GTS-T S1 and S2 Air conditioning hoses that connects from the vehicles firewall to the A/C compressor housing. I have marked the S2 hose in all pictures listed. I have a set of S2 hoses and a S2 compressor for sale all fully working if your interested images below of actual items. The difference between the S1 and S2 hoses are that the flanges/connections on the end of both hoses top and bottom are significantly larger than the S1 hose not only that but the "O" rings sit into a groove on the S2 hoses meaning if S1 hoses where used on a S2 compressor it would leak as the "O" rings on a S1 hose would not seal properly on the compressor side of the A/C system.
