Hey everyone just in a pickle could I please get some advice on what to do next so I have a r33 been built/tuned at 1000hp in 2021 and have done approximately 500-1000km. It’s on e85, i went to have a look over it and noticed there is a little bit of oil in the radiator on the weekend… hope I haven’t done a head. car is idling normal and drives fine. Doesn’t over heat, smoke or anything etc. I rang the engine builder but I get the vibe that no matter what it is, they will say “oh we didn’t replace that when we done the build” or something. I could take it back to the workshop but it’s 8 hours away and I’m worried I’m gonna get stuck with the bill, if the motor is stuffed. They did give me 6 month’s warranty but I would of done 200km in that period as it had a few issues at the start.. tps sensor and heat soak etc. am I better off taking my chances and get him to look at it as he built it or am I better off taking it to crd or somewhere and get them to pull it apart and identify what is wrong just incase it is a machining job or something? Cause I doubt an any workshop would actually admit if they bugged something up? Is every workshop like this.. once they build it they don’t wanna be responsible if anything goes wrong at all? I could understand if it was 5000km or something but not 500km? please see attachment of oil in radiator and bleeder tank.. that bleeder tank was making a weird noise early on the scene but I sent it to him and he said it was normal.. is this correct? any info would be much appreciated was gonna flush radiator etc and change oil and re start the car and see if any oil pops up. Is it possible for it to be something small like residue from somewhere off the old build? Used the original cooling system that was on the fir IMG_5239.MOV st build

Hey. Thanks for the info, that makes sense. The Car got put on a tow truck straight after dyno and delivered to me 8 hours away. Paid for it yes but not in person. yeah it was done on the hub dyno and said that only one person had the password to log in and get it, that person was always busy with tunes. but I think I have managed to find someone to go in there and ask them for it, if so I’ll delete this post once I get the sheet. -

R33 steering wheel help please

My old steering wheel doesn’t have an airbag anyway so I’m not worried about an airbag just wanted to have a better condition steering wheel. can I get rid of the clockspring and put new steering wheel on -
Hey everyone. Just trying to install a r33 steering wheel series 2 with airbag on my r33gtst please see photos I go to slide the new wheel on but it’s hitting the plug on the right hand side. Do I have to take that black disc looking thing off or is that series 2 steering wheel not going to fit at all? middle picture is of the series one that came off it.

Can anyone at least measure there’s so I could possibly get one made up please

Ok no worries had a look online at the rb26 ones and the arrow is going clockwise not anti close use. ill pm you for price etc if that’s ok?

Thanks for the reply yeah that makes sense, thanks very much. The mechanic made me turn the car off and then put the foot flat and nothing changed still at 0.01v Has a new loom in it. New wires to tps etc see photo. It run sweet on dyno and test drive afterwards. I went to go for first drive yesterday, warmed it up around town then went to give it a bit of a squirt and yeah wouldn’t let me go anything over 3k revs As for the rotation is yours the same in the picture? is so I’ll be keen to buy if your keen to sell.

Thanks very much for the reply its off a r33 gtst rb3026 Drove the car yesterday and it won’t rev past 3k.. on the laptop the tps gauge is not moving at all. Spoke to engine builder he logged on and had a look and said something about 0.01v and it’s not changing or something while driving or anything So just to clarify are you saying that the number is wrong on the back of that sensor in the photo? or that number isn’t a part number it’s just a random number for something else? Does your tps look similar? Same rotation etc? again thanks for the info really appreciate it
