  1. I don't have my V35 til next weekends. If it's just a meet and the place is convenient, I would like to come and see the owners and their V's.
  2. My first V-series spotting in QLD. Spotted a silver V35 sedan near Gateway Motorway exit to Wynnum Rd in Tingalpa area (QLD) at 7:50pm on Thursday (04-08-2011).

  4. Cool. It's not far then. I work in Crestmead area and going to live in Waterford area so I will be mainly using Browns Plains Rd.
  5. Nice to meet you, mate. You mean you live closer to Gold Coast?

  8. Nice to meet you, mate. Do you live closer to Waterford or Crestmead area? Pearl white is a new silver now I believe. But I like white colour. I also got my Dualis in white as well.
  9. Thanks, Ben. Would you know any mobile service provider for road worthy certificate?
  10. Hi mate. Nice to know you. If I see your R33 on the road, I will wave! :-) My V35 is on the way to Brisbane now. They used tilt truck and wooden plates for more assist and it was all good.

  12. That's great. It's good to know there are V-series owners who live close near the area. Back in WA, Steve (CRISP 35) and Fuad (Grrrr) live 10 minutes from my house as well. I am staying in Wynnum area for the next 2 weeks. So far, I've been to Wynnum Plaza, Wynnum shopping centre, Pandanus beach and Manly area. There's a few places around here that's good to cruise around. Hey mate, nice to know your V35 is getting closer to your home. Also, another owner who lives south of Brisbane.
  13. Thanks for the info, Brandon. I will drop by if I am in the area during that time. Woohoo, finally landed in Brisbane. Have to start exploring the place.
  14. Nice to meet you, mate. Hope to see you and your friend at future events.
  15. You mean when SAUQLD organize an event or QLD's V-series event that you want to cruise down to Brisbane, Joshua? Either way, you have to come to Brisbane if you can. That's an effort there, guys. It will be great to see you guys who live further from Brisbane at least once every summer. We can plan for one big summer cruise end of this year or start of next year.
  16. Hey Dion, I do want to see the guts of the country on a road trip but I don't have the guts/time to drive the cars across the country! By the way, Broome is nice. I haven't been there but seen lots of photos and plan to go there one day.
  17. Hi James, thanks for your information. I went with CEVA because I am relocating for work and work paid for my other 2 cars (Mirage and Dualis). So I thought I would still use CEVA for my V35. The fact that "Auto-move" company allows you to put items in the car sounds very good. I could have put my V35 stock wheels in my Dualis to save some transporting fees but couldn't do so. Oh well, sounds like they don't transport to QLD anyway, so doesn't really matter. Thanks again, Jame. Much appreciated.
  18. Hi Ben, thanks for that. I am using CEVA too. I did tell them about my V35 being 85mm from the ground (Preferably 100mm clearance) and they said it should be fine as they had dealt with low cars before. It might scrape abit but as long as nothing major issue, it should be fine. You being in Brisbane, would you be able to direct me to a "reputable" mechanic for a "roadworthy certificate" near Crestmead/Waterford area? Also, you wouldn't know how much are the charges go? I think I do have a time period of up to 3 months before having to change to QLD rego plates. Thanks, Ben.
  19. Hi everyone. As topic suggests, I am bringing over my 3 cars (Mitsubishi Mirage, Nissan Dualis and Nissan Skyline V35 350GT coupe) from WA to QLD. I just want to know what kind of process is involved in getting them register in QLD (i.e. Where to go, how much approximate costs, how long it takes, etc.). The main car I am worried about is my V35. I am bringing over as it is, with bodykit and wheels on it. It currently sitting at 85mm from the ground to the bodykit and wheels are 19 inch (8.5 +5 F and 9.5 +12 R) with 225/35/19 front and 245/35/19 rear. I can put back stock 17 inch wheels on to have extra 10mm-15mm height but not sure if that will help at all. Any suggestion or experience are much appreciated. Thank you.
  20. Hey Nath, let us know when you head down to Brisbane early next year. If the weather is good and there's enough interest, there might be a meet-and-great. Hi Nate, thanks. The car will still be for sale though. But I am not in a hurry to sell it now as it's coming to Brisbane anyway. I will see how it goes. One thing for sure, I am losing alot of money there just to bring it over. But I don't mind. It's worth it. Hey Sheldon, looks like you scored a good bargain with the parts. Your bodykit combination of Chargespeed rear, Impul sides and Kuruma Z front is a popular choice in the States too, so it will look really nice. Can't wait to see that done to your V35. Mine is actually a non-premium 2004 model, so doesn't come with what you listed. It's quite ok, as I have plan to retrim the interior to leather if I decide to keep the car. We went to Movie World Warner Bros. on 11th of June. Were you there?
  21. Hey Joshua. I work for a company called ATCO Structures. We build steel framed transportable buildings.

  23. Hi Sheldon, nice to know you and that you are interested in the V-series community. I can see you have plans for your V35 coupe from your shopping list. Nice one there. Me and my wife went to Movie World Warner Bros. Gold Coast while we were there, and absolutely loved the experience. Hi Hieu. Thanks for the welcome. I will definitely go to JDMST meets whenever I can. So see you there! Hey Andrew. Thanks for the welcome. When I arrive this weekends in Brisbane, I will be staying in Wynnum area for 2 weeks. Then, I will be residing in Waterford area and working in Crestmead area. So maybe close to you? When we have meets/cruises, please bring along your wife. My wife, Sarah, always comes with me as my navigator. Hi mate, thanks. I've seen your V35 sedan somewhere on here before (I believe it was something like Lake Shore Blue?). Hopefully see you around. Hi Joshua, nice to know you. Who knows? Maybe we can do an overnight cruise one day. One of my work branch is in Gladstone. If I travel for work to there, I will let you know? Cobey, we've kind of met already! (On Facebook. ) Keen to see yours too, mate. Thanks. Hi Nath. How's it going? Styx? That's like 10 hours from Brisbane! You will definitely need to tow or transport on a truck for QLD's V-series events. Anyway, nice to know you, Nath. How's V-series scene in Styx area?
