Wow, so many replies! Thanks for all the warm welcome, guys. I had organised few cruises and meet-and-greet's in Perth, WA and would love to see what Queensland has to offer. I will be pretty much busy settling down and with work for 3-4 months. After that, I would love to participate in the events. So far from a week training in Brisbane in June 2011, I love it. Looking forward to it.

Hi everyone. As most of you guys from Queensland know, I am relocating to Brisbane in August 2011. Currently, I own a pearl white 2004 Nissan Skyline V35 350GT coupe with a few modifications that I am bringing over to Brisbane. I would like to catch up with V-series owners from Queensland and hopefully be a part of QLD V-series community. So please post up here if you reside in Queensland and own/owned a V-series. Looking forward to meeting you guys and your V's.

Please note: Finance still owning for approx 2 years. Will be paid out upon sale with potential new owner. Standard WA plate will be swapped for standard QLD plate. I bought the car stock from Fabcar Burswood in 2008 as first owner in Australia. Car is always service at Fabcar Cannington with the best products. Service recently done for 90k kms. Only BP Ultimate is used. Never taken over 4000rpm. The car is only used on weekends and cruises/events. Always garaged and covered. Wash every 2-3 weeks. Wash/wax every second time. All electrical and mechanical components working properly. Been in Perth Autosalon 2010 and Perth Festival of Speed 2010. Please feel free to contact me with any queries or questions. Phone: 0433 626 633 (SMS if no answer). Reason for selling is to reduce down 3 cars I have currently, plus I will be getting a company car so pretty much won't be able to enjoy or continue the build. Serious buyers only please, i.e Test drive only for serious buyer. Most difficult decision I've made so far and would like it to go to a new caring owner. Thank you.

[Fs] 2004 Nissan Skyline V35 Coupe (Pearl White)
VNS 24 replied to VNS 24's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Hi everyone. Just want to update this thread. I've decided to bring the V35 to Brisbane with me, as I didn't have enough time to sell it in Perth and don't want to leave it behind. This car will still be for sale in Brisbane as long as I don't hit a jackpot and continue to build this car up. Carsales and Gumtree will be updated accordingly soon. I've also dropped the price to $24000 with 19 inch Volk GT-C (Or $22000 with 17 inch standard wheels) for quick sale. Please feel free to contact me with any queries or questions. Phone: 0433 626 633 (SMS if no answer). Thank you. -
Yup, totally agree. I don't think it even matter with us import/performance/jap car owner going or not going to event like Rising Suday and will still get pulled over.

Very nicely done, John. I don't know crap about audio/electrical part of the V35. I would love to do a similar setup like yours with the help of Mr. Chris Rogers. Ahem....

Hi everyone, I just want to share my friend's experience with WA traffic authority on Friday night (22-07-2011). About 10pm, he was on his way home after having drinks (tea) with me and there was a booze bus. When it was his turn, he got asked to pull into the side way. Then, the copper started saying things to him like "Your vehicle is of interest to us because of your recent actions on public roads". "WTF" Then, another copper radioed in to him, saying to have a more thorough check becuase it has a turbo. "WTF again". My friend got all freaked out, and keep denying he did anything wrong. (He is a resposible driver who drives with upmost care on the roads, as we both are part of car clubs and been on cruises together and he never let loose once.) In the end, with no proof and evidence, he got let off. Even when he was driving off, he got told to stop doing whatever he was doing on public roads or else get himself into bigger trouble. "WTF AGAIN!!". I mean, seriously, what's all this about? Sure if they can produce evidences, but they couldn't. They can't even tell which road the so-called offence took place. I know not all WA traffic authority treat us "car enthusiast = hoon " this way. But seriously, they need to stop bluffing to get their way!

Cobey, you are in Brisbane, aren't you? If so, I will be talking to you about updated JDM headlights and taillights if I get to bring my V35 to Brisbane.

V35 Atracting Boy Racers
VNS 24 replied to AlexanderWilde's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
You will eventually come across it one day, Mikhail. It's just a matter of time. Just don't put on a show for them as it will do you no good. It's not worth it. I do can tell you, from my experience, people get surprise by us sometimes. They sped past me once at yellow light. All I did was put my foot down 3/4 of the way and caught up in no time. Also, only the crappiest V6 Commodores and Falcons are the ones I always come across looking for these runs on the public roads. I've never seen brand new R8 and FPV owners doing these. -
So true! That's why I chose GT-C compare to SF Challenge and Work VSxx.

Welcome to the V-series community, mate. Enjoy your V35!

The DAMD bodykit for V35 coupe looks a little bit similar (Aston Martin inspired), but not this good-looking.

I agree with Edi. Nice sounding note, JDM style. Fuad (Grrrr) loves it too. -

Spotted a black V35 sedan with aftermarket wheels at the traffic lights of Shepperton Rd and Albany Hwy in East Victoria Park area (WA) at 1:10pm on Thursday (21-07-11). I was in my V35 coupe across the road turning onto Albany Hwy. -
Welcome, Mike. I will beep and wave next time I see you in my Dualis.

At least you guys were not hurt and the cars were not taken. Lucky you, Sean. My opinions are have a sensor flood light installed between the cars and closest window and increase your car security. Plus, your German Sheperd is going to grow up so that's better. My guess is also they have to live near your area as well. They might also know there are two people live in the house with a small dog. Hope they get caught. Baseball bat sounds ok but I have both now. Because that might be the only time I get to use them.

Looking good there, Andrew. That kit actually looks better on black V35 coupe (Because I've seen in some other colours and doesn't look too good). Kristian, I was after these before my GT-C and couldn't find any. Anyway, back to OP. My opinion, if mine was black, I would get those Nismo LMGT4 (Preferably 19's, but 18's still fine). If you want more exclusive and VIP look, go for 20 inch Work Varianza T1S (Staggered with low offsets) in lighting silver or matt deep black. Good luck.

Hi Adam, great to hear you are moving back to WA and bringing over the V. I believe WA had been quite active for the last year. Richard (xtc) organized the first WA VQ-series cruise back in 2009, up until cruise no.5 in 2010. Then, I organized cruise no.6 in 2011, together with WA Meet-and-great events no.1 and 2. There are relevent threads in V-series. I am relocating to Brisbane next month for work. But I am hoping the WA VQ-series scene to keep going and I am sure there are enough active owners on and off SAU that will participate when the next event comes around.
