  1. Hi everyone, Western Australia's V-series Owners Meet-and-greet No.2 had finished successfully. Photos should be uploaded in the next couple of days. Thank you all who attended. For those who couldn't make it, we are looking forward to meet you all in our next event.
  2. Welcome to SAU, Aaron (aka Cul. ) It will be a totally different car to the ones who drove before. Nevertheless, it's great you take notice of it. Any questions for it, I am sure someone can help you out on this forum. Good luck with the car and enjoy your stay.
  3. I haven't heard of that product name before. Alot of positive remarks, so I will give it a try when my Meguiar's products run out. I believe I can buy Final Inspection products at any local shops?
  4. Thus, making it more precious.  Good luck with the sale again.
  5. Very nice, Andrew. Look stockish, yet modified. 
  6. For me are as follows: (P.S: I will only wave if I am in my V35 coupe.) Waving: 1. GT-R's. (Ones that drive responsibly, particularly mature looking drivers.) 2. R32's, R33's, R34's. (Again, mature looking drivers. Definitely no P-platers.) 3. V and Z-series. (Ones that look back at me when we drive past each other. More willing to wave to Aussie (White) drivers, as I have some bad experiences with Asian drivers.) 4. Stagea's. (Most of them look at my car when coming across.) Not Waving: 1. S13's (Had too many bad experiences.) 2. WRX's, Galant's, Legnum's (Except some of my friends, most of them look like they only care for their own kind of imports. i.e. To STI's and Evo's.) Neutral (Maybe, Maybe not): 1. RX7 (Still like the car overall.) 2. Supra (Like RX7, still like the car overall. Definitely no P-platers.) 3. Mark II's, Chaser's, Soarer's (Most of them look at my car when coming across.) 4. STI's, Evo's (Except some of my friends, most of them don't look like they care much about other imports.)
  7. 3 more days to go, everyone. Come meet fellow V-series owners for a good chat, get to know each other and talk about cars. We can also have Nando's for those who's hungry, or bubble tea just around the corner. Please post if interested.
  8. Hi Chris, I thought you sold that plate already before (On WA forum section). I always wanted a personal plate. If I know about this, I would have waited. I will spread the word out outside SAU. This is one very very rear plate. Good luck.
  9. Yup. They are called D-Max. I will nearly going to get it before. But lack of information of it made sourcing one hard. It is a very rear body kit as far as I am concerned. Good work on getting it. P.S: Try to get the rear bumper as well. That rear bumper looks nice, especially on black (Or wraped).
  10. Good work, mate. Will be interesting to see the outcome.
  11. Good job, Andrew. Is the new front bar you got on the one I attached?
  12. I only trust and use Meguiar's products, until someone can convinces me there's actually something better than it.
  13. Hi Julz, With Cowley smash, the only experience I had was seeing my friend's boot resprayed in pearl white last year. I can say they did a good job. The only thing was they didn't connect the third brake light in the car properly from the spoiler brake light. WIth Fibre Vision, I just painted and fitted my new side skirts with them last month. I can also say they did a good job. They also know alot about aftermarket car body parts as well. Also, I just want to throw in another name as an option for you. When I got rear-ended by L-plater while doing a U-turn in 2008, I went to this place call Uneeda smash repair in Welshpool. My car is a V35 coupe and they didn't know anything about my car. Still, they did a great job. I went through with my insurance, so the end result was perfect. At the end of the day, I think they will do their best. Call them up and see who can convinces you the most and which place is more convenient for you. Call them up regularly during the repair process and keep yourself up-to-date with the progress. Good luck again.
  14. No worries, Julz. Even if it exceed a little over (Maybe $150-$200), I would just go without insurance (Depending on your excess fee). It will not harm your good rep with your insurance company that way. Good luck again.
  15. Ok. It could have been hit from the back to forward position by someone when the car was parked? I am also guessing you already tried folding and un-folding the mirrors? I will have a look at mine. If it's the same, I will let you know and we can try to solve the same problem. Hope you get it fixed.
  16. Yeah, jacking it up to have a look would be a good start. Would you know what spring you got on now? If it's common King Springs, it will be about 2 inches (50mm) drop from stock height.
  17. Sorry to hear about your accident, Julz. If the damage is small and the total repair cost is under your excess fee, you can fix it up at a good smash repair place at your own expense. If not, you will have to call your insurance company, file the report and paid the excess fee to fix it. Good luck with the process.
  18. Interesting find! I will give it a go when I get a chance.
  19. Thanks for your pm, mate. We shall see you then. UPDATED Confirmed: 1. VNS 24 2. CRISP 35 3. Grrrr 4. MikhailV87 5. Neo (Not on SAU) 6. diabolique 7. Cliff (Not on SAU) - TBC 8. Chris (Not on SAU) - TBC 9. Kliono 10. Pac (Not on SAU) - TBC 11. love RS
  20. Hi Mitch, As I don't know anything about a Nismo exhaust system, I might be wrong in my opinions. Is it because the muffler of the Nismo exhaust system bigger and lower than stock system, that you are scrapping it? Or is it hooked up properly and not hanging down lower than it should be? With the springs, you can also use stock 350Z springs if you can't source stock V35 springs. But the car will still be about 25mm lower than stock height. Good luck.
  21. I would suggest going for the SSR rims. There's nothing wrong with Vertini wheels. But SSR are more "exclusive" to Japanese cars than Vertini. Good luck.
  22. @ love RS

    Hi Cosmo.

With 20 inch Lenso rims, post up a photo of them on the forum page, so we can all discuss as a group for the best possible outcome.

As far as I am concerned, 19 nich are the best for both performance and as daily driving. 20 inch are more for a show purpose but will look better after lowering the car.

  23. Roy, Do you mean the whole mirror cover of the driver side is angled slightly outwards, or just the mirror? Mine looks the same, but will see if they are different later.
  24. Good stuff, mate. It looks abit lower now. 
  25. Thanks, mate. It is lower by about 15mm to 20mm now. I am thinking of making a custom front under splitter in the future to match that differences in heights. So far, I haven't touch any bumps after new side skirts on. Plus, I have pretty high drive way but the new sides skirts clear them. Lucky .
